WARNING : POSSIBLE TOXINS BUNNY WOODS GOLCAR
All people who walk dogs in the area locally know as Bunny Woods in Golcar, please be extra vigilant for anything your dog may be eating, please keep your dogs on a lead, particularly if they are prone to scavenging. We have now had 3 separate cases of dogs that have been brought into the vets, that have been walked in the area this morning that are now in the hospital receiving treatment after showing signs of toxin ingestion (sleepy, mild tremors, lack of coordination) Police and Kirklees environmental health have been informed. Please share.

🐾 As most of you know mum is needing a new hip and her surgery is going ahead this Wednesday.
For the next 4-6 weeks depending on mums recovery, it’ll be my fiancé jhon helping out with me, he’s fully insured, DBS checked and he knows all of the doggies and has met the majority of you all, the doggies love him.

Also we will be closed on the 28th of October, as we will be travelling back from taking the kids away for a long weekend 🐾

Polite notice 🌼

Didn’t want to mention anything but it’s happening quite a lot at the moment…

Can everyone please make sure that your dog is going to the toilet in a morning before you leave for work more so for a poo, we are having an increased amount of dogs pooing in the van, it’s becoming a daily occurrence with about 4 dogs toileting in the van before we get to the field.

It’s meaning I’m having to stop everytime it happens, to clean as best I can, and doing this on the roadside isn’t the best or safest, I know it’s a dog van, but it’s still my vehicle that I drive round in.

I know accidents happen and I totally get that, but this is becoming a daily occurrence now for some dogs, and it’s extra time I’m having to clean my van everytime it happens.

If you can just make sure your dog has had a poo in a morning before you leave for work that would be great, thanks so much 🤍🐶🐾

Due to the forcast for the whole week, all walks will be earlier than planned and maybe cut short depending how warm it gets 🌞

We will be trying our best to stick to shaded areas 🐾

Limited ball time ⚽️

Paddling pools out 🏊‍♀️🚿

Plenty water on board 💧
