Simba and I had a lovely gentle Hack out with his neighbor today ex racehorse Neil, he wanted to look the part for Neil and Chanel his inner racehorse with inner Newmarket colours 🤣❤️

I had my first flat lesson on Harry today with the Wonderfully Charismatic Simon Laurens.

I learned so much about doing so much "less" !!!

Already looking forward to the next !! What a fantastic lesson and he was so easy to understand.

Looking for self employed professional Two days/mornings a week:
Looking for someone to help to give me two mornings or full days off a week. ideally Tuesday and Sunday but not essential.

Private yard on Withington Estate.

Essentially the job entails 7:30 AM feed / turnout/muck out of 2 - 4 horses depending.. exercise if capable. (Not essential)
No poo picking.
Riding NOT essential but helpful if you are a lightweight rider of good standard to hack/school.
If not then the boys can have a lunge or a day off.

One day is not like the other so I can't say what your hours will be, one day could be a simple 3hrs, other days if she has lessons booked in ECT 5+ hrs but that's the industry!
More hours available for tack cleaning and doing my horses etc ....
Also, come to the event/show season the days/weekends are busier and I often need someone in the yard so that I can get horses ready to go !!

Holiday cover available and other days will be available to cover.
The job is NOT a difficult one !! but I really would like someone with high standards who leaves things as nice and tidy as myself and my current ladies.

Position Would suit an adult looking to fill their week with a couple of horsey mornings rather than a student, I need a committed person 🙂
Beautiful yard and relaxed environment, perfect for someone who wants a quiet place to work.

I've had one of the busiest weeks and today was no exception! I start most days at 5am and finish at 5.30pm I am tired but Excited
(I was so tired today I put the wrong bridle on him and never noticed!! Bad I know, poor Harry ! )

BUZZING to have my first lesson on Harry today !!

We are working on changing my position from a effective work rider to an effective dressage/show rider.
Now that I longer ride breakers and problem horses I don't have to ride defensive.
Lengthening my legs and working muscles I have not used before 🤎🐴

We have our side saddle lesson at the end of the month 🙂

BUZZING ! first jump lesson with Matteo today !
Finally I have some top tips and tools to put me in the right direction with her.
She felt so good in places I know she'll be absolutely Mega next year !

As of tomorrow 1st Nov I become the joint Share of Harry 😁
I have been looking after Harry since March for Fiona and he has just retired from his Eventing Career sound.
Next year we shall "hopefully" be gracing the veterans showring, Sidesaddle 🙂🤎

Today Anne Marie took my Angel to play over some XC fences. This is only angels second time ever jumping, she still likes to trot into fences she's learning and Anne Marie did a fantastic job letting her see everything.
They both look great and were so nice to watch my horse for a change.

So happy 😊 that's the best girl settled into her new stable at Withington. ❤️ Thankyou to Joanne and Anne Marie who came to make sure all went smoothly.

Roller & I went for a nice hack.out this morning. Sheep herding and hillsides 🍁☀️ beautiful

This afternoon was all about me and Angel .. mooching about in the rain 🌧️ just enjoying the peace 🕊️🧡 reset, realign and breath knowing I'm happy

Slowly teaching my usual extra weekly working horses to stretch on command. This is the beautiful Nova doing really well.

It's been one hell of a day for me today but Sat in the bath now and still living every day 💞 starting at 4am getting Stealth ready for his Event, then my usual yard job for the three withington boys. Followed by gentle school work for Roller as it was too rainy to hack Next I had Conka for a mane and tail pull/tidy and that was quite a big job with a thick mane. Then off to Burnt ask to do Angel and missed a hack with her due the absolutely dier weather 🤦 Back to Withington to finish off the boys for the evening unpack the lorry and lunge the two girls Tilly & Nova. Now in a well earned bath and looking forward to my day off tomorrow. Below Harry and Simba enjoying themselves in the ☔
