(ignore the mud 🤭) Stealthy boy had a tail and a mane tidy today, so I have taken a lot of the thickness out and just shorted it slightly, keeping a natural line and not a scissor line. Ready for plaits come competition time ♥️

Shakira this evening showcasing one of my fav lunge/school pole grids.
pace the poles out to a canter stride then you have multiple possibilities at walk trot and canter and you can do one pole, two poles, three OR opposite corners.
This keeps them thinking and moving without becoming complacent as you can change it up every single time around.

2:52pm and finally Sat down for some lunch and a coffee before afternoon bring in one more to exercise.
I thought I would take a minute and breathe in what I have atm.
With so much sadness in the world and so much hostility, I can honestly say I am thankful for all that I have.

To be a part of a busy working yard and enjoy ALL who are a part of it is RARE!!!
To come to work and genuinely be happy is something people take for granted. This is my second home I spend more time in this tack room than my own bedroom but I am happy 😊 I

Harry looking absolutely gorgeous today 😊 no side saddle this week thanks to a doggy vet bill so it will be after Christmas now.
Working hard behind the scenes though to keep up fitness and softness/suppleness ready to continue on the side on the 3rd Jan 💁🏼‍♀️☺️

Harry & Myself had our first sidesaddle lesson together today.
I haven't ridden side saddle since my Gabby well over 4 years ago so I felt Rusty!!

Harry took to this so well, he was a little upset with me to begin with because I was Rusty and unbalanced, but as soon as I got into the swing of it again he was starting to transition for me smoothly and was a really good boy.

"He is a tail swisher"

the first little course for Angel thrown together today. Last week I have been working really hard with transitions and canter.
Really working hard to keep the canter underneath me without locking up. She's only just learning to balance in contact in both directions properly so this is difficult for us both.
Whilst trying to make it look smooth and effortless. She was tired on this last effort.

She really does try her hardest 🧡🤍
Amazing lesson once again with Matteo!!!

It was canter pole session for these three this evening. Bloody chilly day today but all worked well. 🥶 Nova Roller Tilly Some more enthusiastic than others 🤣
