I just wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation for everyone's generosity and kindness. Honestly, i'm blown away with your lovely words, cards and thoughtful gifts, it really means alot to me❤️. Thank you, so very much. More importantly, THANK YOU for choosing me to care for your fur babies, this is a gift in itself🐾. I value each and everyone of you and adore all your furry friends, (even if the feeling isn't always mutual🤣).

I will be closed this afternoon, and will return to work on Tuesday 3rd Jan. Messages for appointments sent to me from 24th Dec will be responded to on Friday 27th December. I will not be responding to bookings over the festive period as I will be spending the break with Family.

Charlie's groom❤️

This is the gorgeous Charlie, a six year old Cockalier.
He recently came in for a full groom with his lovely mum, Kirsty & his brother Archie.
After discussing how they'd like Charlie groomed, and checking any medical issues I might need to know about, Kirsty & Archie left Charlie and I to get acquainted.
Charlie is super cuddly and sweet. Starting with the usually gentle brush through to remove loose hair and debris from his coat. Next I clipped his coat short, leaving his head abd tail as requested. Into the bath and snood on. Charlie was so good in the bath. A lovely shampoo massage, followed by a thorough rinse off. He LOVES a towel dry and the drier. He's a happy boy! I clipped him over again to smooth the finish on his coat. Trimmed his top knot (head), feet, face and tail. Nails trimmed and ears cleaned. Charlie posed beautifully for his pictures. Well done Charlie! #

Peanut's groom❤️

This is the very gorgeous Peanut a sweet little Spaniel, who was brought in for her groom by her lovely mum, Meg. She is a little shy, loves a hug, and is so friendly.
Meg just wanted Peanut to have a tidy up full groom. She doesn't have alot of feathering on her legs but neatening it up will help to keep her cleaner in this horrible weather☺️.
Starting with the gentle brush through and then into the bath. Snood on, and a lovely warm shampoo bath to freshen her up and make her feel nice. A good towel dry after, followed by the drier. Meg had already informed me that Peanut isn't keen on her hairdryer, so I used my quietest dryer and gave her lots of hugs and praise whilst it was on. She did great and even started to relax, and sat in front of it on her own so brave! Once dry, a scissor trim to neaten up any stray coat, and her feathering. Feet, ears and tail trimmed, and ears also cleaned. Well done Peanut!

Cookies groom❤️

The very sweet Cookie was very excited to come for her groom yesterday, and pulled her lovely mum Sylvie into the groom room with her.

Cookie is a Shihtzu. She has a super cuddly nature and loves to be brushed. So, starting with a good brush through, followed by her bath and then dry. Sylvie wanted Cookie's coat left longer this time of the year, so I was happy to oblige.

I clipped her over and then shaped her body,, tail, feet, ears and face using my scissors. Nails trimmed, and ears cleaned. Pictures taken and Cookie is already to go home. Sylvie sent me a gorgeous photo of Cookie infront of their Christmas tree (last pic). Thank you Sylvie🩷.

TEMPORARY DIARY CLOSURE. I have agonised over this decision for a while. Due to the number of dogs currently already on my books, and to maintain a high standard of care and service to my regular clients, I have made the decision to temporarily close my diary to NEW CLIENTS ONLY. This will allow my regular clients to book in their grooms easier as the diary dates become available. I recommend pre booking after your dogs groom to insure the next groom visit date. Please remember I work on 1 to 1 basis with your dog to give the them the best care and attention I can. It is your responsibility as the dogs Pawrents/owner to maintain their coat condition outside of their groom appointments. Leaving them until they are matted or getting hot, does not mean I can ‘squeeze’ them into the diary. I will always try and do my best for the dog and their owner.
