Fudge's groom🐶❤️
Fudge came in for a full groom, tidy up. With her long flowing hair this wet weather has been a nuisance to all dogs coats. Her lovely mum Katherine bought her in and has been doing a great job of grooming her. Every Spaniel owners knows how busy their dogs are on walks, running around, head down, in & out the bushes🤣. Those coats are like magnets to leaves and debris. Katherine loves the long haired look (who doesn't, its lovely), but decided it was time to trim it down slightly to help reduce the chances of matting.
A good brush through as usual, removing excess hair and any little matts. Then onto the usual bath & shampoo massage. Rinsed off and towel dried. Back to the table to be dried and brushed. Once Fudge is fully dried I can clip her hair to reduce the length and tidy up her feathering. I left her with some lovely feathering, reduced but more manageable. I also did this to her ears too, after all their always trailing on the ground on her sniffing adventures!
I think she looks adorable!
