Charlie's groom🐶❤️.

This handsome 16 week old handsome chap is called Charlie, hes a Golden Retriever. He came in yesterday for a full puppy groom, bought in by his lovely mum, Nathalie.
Starting by trimming his nails, foot fluff underneath trimmed, then checking and cleaning his ears. Into the bath, snood on for a quick pic. Charlie was good in the bath and had a nice shampoo massage. A thorough rinse off next to remove the shampoo residue, followed by a gentle towel dry. Charlie was a bit worried at first by the dryer. Not his favourite thing, but he did very well. I used the finishing dryer on his face, which is quieter and gentle. Well done Charlie!.

Ruby's groom🐶❤️.

This beautiful 5 month old Rottweiler is called Ruby. She came in today for a full puppy groom, bought in by her lovely pawrents.
Starting with a nice brush through, to remove any loose hair and debris. Nails trimmed and smoothed. Into the bath, snood on for a quick pic. Ruby is so good in the bath and seems to enjoy a nice shampoo massage . A thorough rinse off next to remove the shampoo residue, followed by a gentle towel dry. Snood on still, as Ruby isn't to keen on the blaster dryer at first. Ears checked and cleaned. Foot fluff underneath removed. Well done Ruby!. girl

Rufus's groom🐶❤️.

This handsome chap is Rufus the Sprocker.  He  recently came in for a full groom, bought in by his lovely mum, Sarah.
Starting with a nice brush through, to remove any loose hair and debris. Nails trimmed and smoothed. Into the bath, snood on for a quick pic. Rufus is so good in the bath and seems to enjoy a nice shampoo massage . A thorough rinse off next to remove the shampoo residue, followed by a gentle towel dry. Snood on still, as Rufus isnt to keen on the blaster dryer near his ears. Body abd legs all dried off and the finisher drier used on his head and ears. This is quieter and less powerful to use, so nicer to use on the head area. Ears checked and cleaned. Foot fluff underneath and between toes removed. Well done Rufus!.

A Golden Day💛💛

These two handsome chaps are Hopper and Maui. They are both Goden Retrievers. Here's a little write up on their breed.

Probably one of the most recognisable and best loved dogs, the Golden Retriever is outgoing, playful, and probably the perfect pet for just anyone. Their tolerant attitude and the fact that they’re intelligent and easy to train makes them excellent family dogs for either experienced or inexperienced owners.

You won’t be able to count on a Golden Retriever to be a guard dog though, as they will try to befriend anyone who gets close to them. Plus, they love being the center of attention so they will thrive with a loving owner who can give them all the care and affection they need.

A really smart, loving, funny and intelligent breed. I love grooming them! They're a gentle giant with a big heart, who loves a cuddle.

Barney & Mabels Grooms🐶💙🐶❤️

Barney is a 17 year old, very sweet Yorkshire Terrier who recently came in with his younger sister, Mabel. Mabel is a 3 year old long haired German Shepherd. They're lovely mum, Tash bought them all the way from Eastbourne. Its the first time they've come over together in the car and they were so well behaved. Well done Barney & Mabel❤️❤️.
I started Barneys groom with a gentle brush through, and deshed. He has alot of hair for someone so small! Into the bath, snood on and a good shampoo massage to remove any dirt, debris and loose hair left in his coat. A thorough rinse off and onto the table for a towel dry.  Drier on, to finish the process, then a clip off to remove the excess coat. Scissor trim to even out feet, tail, ears, and face. Nails trimmed and ears cleaned. All done! Now for Mabels groom. A good brush through, and then into the bath. Snood on, and bath pic taken. A nice warm gentle shampoo massage getting right down to the skin. A good rinse off, towel dry, and it's back to the table to get fully dried off. A good dry over whilst brusing to keep her coat tangle free. I scissor trimmed her feet to neaten. Ears cleaned, and its time to go home. Such a cute duo❤️💙!

Price increase notice.

Firstly thank you to everyone who has supported my little business over the years. I know some people see dog grooming as an easy job or a hobby but to me this is my world. Dog grooming done well is a physically demanding and skilled job.

With that being said, in order for me to continue to offer my services to all of your wonderful dogs there will be a price increase across all services from the 1st November 2024 between £5 - £10.

With the increase in running costs, such as electricity, water, maintenance and equipment , a price increase is something a small business needs to do in order to continue trading.

Prices as always will vary depending upon your dog.

As always, a sole trader not only needs to cover business costs but also earn a wage in order to live.

I have to cover utilities both in the groom room and at home so please do not think the price you pay goes straight in my pockets.

With that being said, I completely understand if the price increase puts me out of your budget.

The main increase will be across poodle mixes and dogs outside of recommended grooming schedules.

Please send me a message if you would like to know your dog's new price from the 1st November 2024..

I want to thank you all again for your loyalty, and for your patience.

3 more cute clients🥰

Norman the Cocker Spaniel. He's a gentle soul with a super thick coat, making him look like a tiny bear! He hates being brushed, but loves a good towel rub after his bath. Such a sweet little chap😍.

Lockie the miniature Schnauzer. A shy, but cuddly fellow. He doesnt like his legs being touched but doesn't mind his nails trimmed. Getting braver at each groom, well done Lockie😍.

Buddy the Cockerpoo. HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY! He is an outgoing, fun loving little guy. Loves a cuddle. Doesn't mind being groomed at all. He has a lovely red coat!

This is lovely Lexi the Cocker Spaniel. Her mum Laura, sent me this video to show me how excited Lexi is to come and see me😍. Lexi's also this excited when she arrives.
She's a sweet girl who loves to be groomed and have cuddles. Was a wonderful start to my day!

Larry the Rough Collie. He's only 10 months old. What a gentle, sweet, handsome chap he is. Still.cant believe how much he's grown since he last groom.💙

Scarlett the Cocker Spaniel. She's only 9 months old. A very busy little lady, but incredibly good at staying still during her groom. A beautiful pocket rocket! Well done Scarlett❤️

Cookie the Shihtzu. A gentle and quiet girl. She's really good during her grooms, and has a very laidback personality.

Part 4.

Ted the Cairn Terrier. Ted is a very cheeky little chap who pretends he hates coming in, but covers me with kisses once we're in the groom room.🤣. He's incredibly sweet. Hates having his nails trimmed and is nervous of his front legs being clipped. He's getting braver though!❤️

Ralph/Ralphie the Cocker Spaniel. Ralph is incredibly laid back and is a dream to groom. He loves a towel dry and poses for his photos everytime. Super lovely boy!❤️

Bonnie the Cockerpoo. Bonnie is also very sweet, and great during her grooms. She's a petite little lady who has a big character. Super cuddly and loves a bath.❤️

Fudge the Cockerpoo. Lovely Fudge is a lot of fun to groom. He was nervous when I first started to groom him but time & patience has paid off. He's great to groom & loves a towel rub. Handsome chap!💙

Baxter the mixed breed . His mum.was a labrador and his dad a cockerpoo. Baxter is a big softie and a lovable goofball! He's camera shy so is extremely difficult to get a good pic of him. It can take me a while!🤣. He loves to tilt his head whilst I'm trimming his moustache and ears🫣😂💙

Cleo the Cocker Spaniel. Cleo is a sweet girl who loves exploring everywhere on her walks. Her dad is constantly picking shrubbery out of her coat. She loves a groom and has a fabulous shiny coat.💗

Mr Pickles is a Cockerpoo. Aka Mr P, or P for short. He is a cuddle monster who loves to be hugged. He's good throughout his groom and is a quite laidback. Until his mum arrives, then he likes to bark and tell her off for leaving him!🤣🤣💙

Buddy the Cockerpoo. Buddy is super sweet and is a pleasure to groom. He's quite laidback and nothing seems to worry him during the groom. His mum loves him looking neat and sleek. Handsome chap.💙

Albert the English Bulldog. Albert is a whole lot of fun and chaos. He loves the step under the table, and will squeeze himself onto it. He's busy and lovable, and great during his grooms.💙

Kovu the flat coated retriever. Kovu is a very happy bundle of fun. So well behaved in the groom room and loves a groom. A huge hairy beast who is a gentle giant💙

Cookie the JRTX Sausage dog. Cookie is very nervous, but is super sweet. She doesn't like her nails being trimmed but was so good and brave yesterday. Well done Cookie. Sweet girl❤️.

Ziggy the Cocker spaniel. Ziggy is still a puppy and full of energy. Lovely little chap. Really good during his grooms and loves to sing to me whilst being dried!😂💙

Louis the Cocker Spaniel. Louis is a very sweet and gentle boy. He's got such a lovely coat and is a dream to groom too. Lots of hair to collect stuff in on his walks😂, so nice and sleek is the best trim for him!💙

Hector the English Bulldog. Hector is a whole lot of fun. He's got a big heart and is a real character. Loves a good groom and always wants to fight the dryer😂. Adorable💙.

Barley the Cavapoo. Barley is a tiny little fella who is very busy. He's really good during his grooms and loves to talk to me. His tail never stops wagging!he 😂

Ralph the Cockerpoo. Ralph is a very laidback fella. He has a super thick coat, and often his heavy fringe is covering his eyes by the time he's arrived for his next groom. Poor Ralph🫣😂.

Dolly the Cavachon. Dolly is a super sweet girl who isn't a fan of being groomed, but is so good during her grooms. Such a petite little lady! Adorable.breach

Archie the Cocker spaniel. Archie is a really lovely boy who has a beautiful colour coat. He's a very gentle soul and so good being groomed. .spraggon

A HUGE congratulations to Bella & Ruby.🐶❤️

Bella came 2nd in prettiest girl😍 at Patcham 'Duck fayre' today and,

Ruby came 1st in the puppy category😍.

Well done to them both! ❤️🐶❤️🐶

Bella has also recently won 'prettiest eyes' in another competition!

After she won prettiest girl today, the RSPCA, invited her to the front and did a talk on what a great example of an Olde English Bulldog she is, and the misconceptions people have of this breed. Thank you for your knowledge and support of these breeds.🐶❤️
