📣 Group Classes Update

I wanted to let you all know that I’ll be taking a short break from running group classes, with the last session of the year taking place on 14th December.

I’m planning to start up again in the Spring, and I’ll share more details closer to the time.

A huge thank you to everyone who has trained with me – it’s been an absolute pleasure to work with you and your amazing dogs. Your support means the world to me, and I’ve loved seeing the progress you’ve all made.

If you have any questions or need any help during this break, feel free to get in touch. I can’t wait to see you and your pups back in class next year!

Thank you again, and I’ll keep you posted on my Spring return.

As the days start to grow shorter (sigh) and the air carries a hint of crispness, it's a clear sign that fireworks season is on the horizon.

While the colourful bursts of light and booming sounds may delight us, the same cannot be said for our furry companions.

Rather than waiting until the eve of Bonfire Night, preparing your dog for fireworks season early can make all the difference.

1. Create a safe space

2. Desensitise to the noise

3. Reward calm behaviour

4. Try additional calming methods

Each month I highlight a dog training with me who has done an amazing job!

This month's star dog is Ricky!

Ricky joined me on a recent UK Sniffer Dogs workshop and he absolutely smashed it! 💪

He can struggle in group situations, but not only did he do a great job with the other dogs he picked up the scent work so well!

Looking forward to seeing him improve even more in Scent School!🌟

Most people believe it will never happen to their dog, yet every year dogs continue to die in hot cars ⚠️

Polling from the RSPCA (England & Wales) has revealed that only 58% of people would NOT leave their dog inside a car on a warm day, meaning more than 40% may potentially put their pets at risk!

Please don’t gamble with your dog’s life. Even if you're leaving them in the car for a minute or two, this could still lead to tragic consequences for your dog. Even if you're parked in the shade with the windows open, a car can still quickly heat up to dangerously high temperatures 🌡️

Remember: 'not long' is too long.

If you see a dog in a hot car showing signs of distress such as panting heavily, drooling excessively, appearing lethargic, drowsy or uncoordinated, collapsed or vomiting, dial 999 immediately.
