Dog trainers can give you advice and the tools, but they can’t give you the time. You chose your dog, they didn’t choose you. That choice comes with a promise 🐾 to give them the time they need to learn, grow, and adapt to the life you’ve brought them into.
We can’t keep complaining about behaviours we haven’t invested the time to change. They deserve those spare five minutes for training, that meaningful walk where they can explore, learn, and connect with you.
That ‘perfect moment’ won’t wait for you. Time moves fast, and our dogs live in the now. Show up for your dog ❤️because they’re worth it.
Gift your dog with time 🐶🎄 Make it matter.

I see it all the time: someone walking a cute puppy through town, only to be stopped constantly by people desperate to say hi and touch the puppy—OR even worse! When a stranger approaches and touches a puppy without even asking. We need to stop allowing these interactions. This is not how we socialise our puppies. Instead, put your hand out and tell people to stop. They can interact by letting your puppy approach them instead. Give your puppy the space and time to assess the situation and ensure it’s safe for them. As a puppy owner, it’s crucial to advocate for this. Normalise saying NO to strangers encroaching on your puppy’s space. If we don’t advocate for our puppies, they can become overwhelmed and scared. Repeated negative experiences can lead to anxiety, fearfulness, and even reactivity in the future. By stepping in and setting boundaries, we ensure our puppies have safe, positive experiences that help them grow into well-adjusted, confident dogs. Have you ever had a negative experience with a stranger approaching your puppy? How did you handle it? #dogtraining #puppytraining #puppysocialisation #dogtrainer

To all my Snobbys and friends have a wonderful Christmas 🎄 Thank you for all the support you’ve given! To the owners that have been training hard this year with their pups - well done, proud of you all 👏👏 and to all my boarding dogs , thank you for sticking with us throughout the years ❤️ 🐾 see ya in 2024!
I’ve spent all my life surrounded by animals and the idea of having a business working with animals has always been at the front of my mind.
I’ve got a small friendly team that are likeminded and do a fantastic job at taking care of peoples pets and making sure their dogs are always having a good time out on their walks, so I’d like to introduce the team to you all
I’ve been surrounded by canines since I was a small little girl. It all started with me visiting my dads friend whose dog gave birth and there was one pup in the litter that I was so drawn to which we ended up taking home. Her name was Ziggy, a mixed breed which I can't say for sure but I recon some sort of collie mix
Thanks to Ziggy its been a never ending story with canines joining our family. We’ve had German Shepherds, Spaniels, a toy poodle, and a couple of strays that we have rescued along the way! Our home soon turned into some sort of mini Zoo where it wasn’t just Canines anymore but Cats, Fish, Terrapins, Hamsters, Mice, Snakes, Tokay Geckos, Birds, Hermit Crabs. You would of thought that would of been enough for me, but it wasn’t... I had to join the Zoo so I could expand my knowledge with animals and wild life and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in life!
Which comes to bring me to now.. I started off Snobby Doggy in July 2019 as a Home from Home Boarding & Day Care Business as it brings me so much joy & happiness to be surrounded by Canines! As my little Home Business has grown over the year I’ve met all sorts of four legged friends & have gained many memories with them.
I’m so happy to say now that Snobby Doggy is expanding and able to offer more services such as Dog walking, Pet Sitting, Drop in Visits/Feeding, and plant watering.... and YES, I consider all my plants as pets ;)
Sophie is a student at Sussex Uni, and I met her through the Sussex Uni Dog Society (Check them out people! They are SUPERB!).
I signed my dog up Molly (working cocker spaniel) with the Sussex Uni Dog Soc and they matched us up with wonderful Sophie!
Over the past year Molly would look forward to her weekly with with Sophie & I started hiring her from time to time to help me out with my Home Boarding & Day Care.
Sophie is now a part of the Snobby Doggy Crew and is our Dog walker, Pet Sitter & also does Drop in visits/plant watering! She lives in Hanover, Brighton and is looking forward to having her own pack of dogs to take on adventures with her!
I’ve known Alyssa since we were babies. We grew up in tiny Brunei together then moved to Malaysia together. Alyssa is a big animal enthusiast and has had many amazing experiences working with wild life. Alyssa also grew up with canines, 2 Japanese spitz which lived very long lives of 16 years! (Wait... what?!?) & Mini Pinschers. Along with Canines she also had Sugar gliders, Goats, Chickens, Ducks, Cats. This also was not enough for Alyssa though.. Alyssa also started working at the Zoo where she could experience and educate herself more with wild life.
Alyssa moved to Australia for 3 years after Malaysia and has recently moved to England to be closer to family & now lives in Brighton where she has become part of the Snobby Doggy Crew! Do be sure to ask her for some of her awesome wild life stories during your meet & greet! ;)
