⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ NEW - Another 5 STAR REVIEW!
We chose Kate after reading some of her previous positive reviews.
We were not disappointed in any way, her caring, concise and simple instructions were simply easy to follow.
Our dog Charley was not a naughty dog but didn't understand what we wanted from her, Kate taught us how to communicate with her.
Just three, one to one sessions and we are confident we have the tools needed moving forward, but we know Kate is just a phone call away if we need help.
Simply put " Kate is the dog whisperer "

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 STAR REVIEW!
We worked with Kate when we got our new dog. As first time dog owners we were a bit confused and felt embarrassed at our lack of knowledge. Kate made us feel it was a judgement free zone and she was there alongside us willing us on to do the best for our new dog. She explains things clearly and effortlessly making it accessible to all the age ranges who were learning how to raise our Rocco. The results are we have gone back to multiple group classes and courses after the 121 as the learning is always on going as the dogs mature and your relationship evolves. Kate has played a part in us being able to enjoy having a happy dog (and cat) in the house. Thank you!

I'm blowing my own Trumpet again! - A new 5 STAR REVIEW!
Jo booked 3 Puppy training sessions and we had 1 follow up session, to help support them with raising their gorgeous, lively Cocker Spaniel Roxi.
Here's what Jo said:
Kate is an exceptional dog trainer. She supported us with clear instruction in a supportive and kind way sharing her vast knowledge about dogs’ behaviour and teaching us methods to train our dog. Kate follows up with key tips and information in writing after the session. Would highly recommend Kate if you are looking for a dog trainer/behaviourist.

So today, after 7years of running regular agility classes and sessions, the very last one took place and it was a corker! The class was followed by a small gathering of Dogs Club regulars as a means to say thank you and farewell.
🐾 Looking ahead, Dogs Club will be focusing fully on Dog Training and Behaviour, for Puppies, Adolescents and Adult Dogs; mainly 1-2-1 sessions to help with training difficulties and/or challenging behaviours. There are also regular group training classes mainly Recall and Loose-lead Walking, plus there’ll be some great new Mental Exercise Classes ahead, which will incorporate elements of Gundog Training as well as essential focus, connection and every day skills (more details will be following shortly).
🐾As I near the end of my Level 5 (degree) in Canine Behaviour, I can’t emphasise the value of all of the study, and especially studying to Level 5 has enabled a depth of knowledge that is critical to be able to fully support and help dogs and their owners work through their biggest challenges.
🐾So thank you to all my lovely Agility customers over the years – I shall miss seeing you all and your gorgeous dogs, who have never ceased to impress me over the years. I wish you all great success and hope you continue to enjoy much more agility ahead.

* REVIEW 18/9/24 * "I’m so glad you suggested this way of working with you as a way forward for George and me. I think your way working intensively with individual dogs (and their owners!) is very powerful on many levels and has been hugely beneficial".
George is a lovely 14mth old Bichon Frise who is not food motivated and struggles to focus. There was a stuttered start with his puppy training due to very sad family circumstances. They attended a few classes but they still struggled getting off the ground with 3 key things due to him being so fully distracted with other dogs especially - Loose-lead walking, Recall and general Focus.
Here's the key information from the website:
"A minimum booking of 5 walks is essential to get the best out of this service – I’d take your dog for the walks on my own, ideally all 5 walks to happen within a 2 week timespan.
* I’d work with your dog with experienced clarity to help them fully understand what is expected (this is an essential part of their learning).
* Once the exact technique/method is established and understood by your dog - whether it’s clearly initiating the process of desensitisation for reactivity or clarity of handling to promote focus for loose-lead walking, I would handover to you.
* On the final walk, I would example and handover to you in situ, so you can continue the training or behaviour modification with consistency and continue to progress.
We completed 2 blocks of 5 and there has been enormous progress. George is able to calmly walk past other dogs (not possible before), his focus/awareness of walking WITH his owner (rather than on his own agenda) is so much better and shows to be steadily improving and his recall is improving all the time too, with the clear training methods and motivations in place, which he responds well to and now will continue to be built on.
