Hi everyone
I'll have the pleasure of coaching this once again in October at Chelwood Gate.
Disco Dressage is an hour spent learning a simple, fun drill ride, riding to the beat to the sounds of Grease the musical!
A great way to practice accuracy, awareness and have a giggle all at the same time.

Asta did really well in the humid weather, especially with 2 tests to get through!

And one of the beautiful Asta (aka pirate pony.)
I liked this one of our stretchy trot circle - nice to see how Asta's balance has improved as last time we did a test she wobbled out the boards on her blind side! Asta lost her right eye a few years ago and is a great example of how versatile and incredible horses can be.

Had a super time riding a new boy (to me!) The lovely Pesto, who is learning the ropes and tried his heart out. Pesto is only 6 and took to it all beautifully, owned by the lovely Sophie 😁

A big well done to Marie Bancroft-Rimmer and Asta who rode their best Prelim test to date this week (in my opinion!)
Asta also jumped a lovely easy clear round with me directly after - amazing as she only has the one eye!

So fortunate to be in the sunshine today.
Malcolm McKemey rode a lovely Prelim 19 today at felbridge, and Pippa and I jumped the 80 and 90cm clear.
This was Pippas first 90cm track - I was quite nervous going in, and the tracks at Felbridge are always full up to height too.
I was very proud of both her and I today - I still get nervous jumping much over 3ft when the horses aren't 'push button' - it's good to get a little scared though, otherwise we never progress!

Nice day out yesterday, Pippa and I rode our first dressage test in months (I usually jump her when we go out these days!) And managed 66.7% to win the E42 class.
Malcolm McKemey did a great job scoring 64% in N28, especially after a nasty winter bug!
Well done team!

Wow, that was a downpour!
Bit drenched, but the super Pippa did very well in the horrid weather this morning
Asta was more fortunate and got some sunshine, and was nicely relaxed in the sunshine.

Very happy with Pippa this morning - storm Ciaran meant no turnout yesterday so it was a stiffer start than usual today, with lots of heavy machinery being moved about the yard as well making Pippa a little tense.
We finished much more supple and relaxed without rushing through the fences.

Pippa had a good day out today after a slightly unpredictable start to the day with the lorry refusing to start!
A nice clear around the 2ft9 at Felbridge today for Pip and I, with my fab client Malcolm McKemey riding a lovely Prelim 15 test and coming 3rd. Well done!
