I never reply to dog videos on social media, it's generally a crazy wild west. This is a good example however of a common misunderstanding. A dog licking your face is probably not affection but appeasement. They are saying I'm not comfortable, please get out of my face. Please respect that and give them space.

This evening I did my first emergency stop in a car that I have had for over 3 years. It was slow speed but raining. The car did well thanks to ABS. The dog that ran out in front of me is not dead. Please keep your dog on lead on the streets no matter how well trained you think they are.
