🥰 Here are my top 10 grooming tools I wouldn't be without. 🥰

1. Slicker brush - A lifesaver for detangling matted dog fur.
2. Comb - so I can place the hair were I want it ready for trimming
3. Scissors - were the magic happens in creating the pets new look
4. Electric clippers - makes life a lot easier when you can sculpt angulation with little effort
5. Slip lead - to keep out pets safe while we work on them
6. Nail trimmers - giving our pets there well earned pedicure
7. Hair dryer - to put the volume back into the coat
8. Shampoo - to remove the dirt and bring the shine back
9. Towel - captures all those wet drops and keep our pets nice and warm
10. Perfume - adding that extra special sent to make your pet extra cuddly.

Every single one of these tools is important to make the grooming process a breeze.

💕 I’ve had a few people hopping into my inbox this week asking about our Dog grooming services 💕

A few common questions cropped up, so I thought I’d answer them here in case you’ve been wondering the same.

🐾 How long would it take to groom my dog?

That depends on the size of your dog. We take anywhere between 1.5 hours and 3 hours to groom a dog. But rest assured, there will be plenty of breaks in between to ensure it’s an enjoyable experience for your dog.

🐾 When should I bring my puppy in for its first groom?

Your puppy should be groomed early on to familiarize them with and enjoy the grooming process. We suggest bringing them in two weeks after their last vaccinations. On their first visit, we will not clip their coat, as the transition depends on their breed. We will recommend a grooming routine for your puppy. During their initial visit, we will introduce them to the grooming salon environment in a relaxed and enjoyable manner to ensure future visits are stress-free.

🐾 How much does it cost to get my pet groomed?

Pricing is determined by breed, hair length, condition of your dog's skin, temperament, age, and grooming history. An exact cost will be provided during the pre-treatment consultation, but you can refer to our Services page for guide pricing.

I don’t mean to get all serious on you, but did you know that over 80% of dogs over the age of three have active dental disease?

Yep, this is an important reminder to all pet owners to look after their pet’s dental health. 🐶🐱

So get those toothbrushes and pet toothpaste out, and start brushing!

There are also dental chews and treats you can offer. Or if your pet’s teeth are already showing signs of plaque, tartar or gum disease, do get advice from your vet.

Giving your pet’s teeth some TLC will ensure they have a happier and healthier life. 💖
