‼️ Stray Cat ‼️

**UPDATE: Owner has been found! 😊**

We’ve had a Cat handed into us found wandering in the road along Southwick Street.

He is a neutered Male, Ginger and White and has a black collar fitted with an Airtag. He does have a microchip but it’s not registered in the UK, so we are unable to locate the owner(s).
We are unable to board animals overnight at our Southwick practice and if unclaimed by the end of the day, he’ll be sent over to our Worthing Hospital.

If you know anyone with Cat of this description, or suspect him to be yours, please contact us on 01273 596201. You are also welcome to email us pictures if you think this may be your Cat.

Thank you.

‼️ Stray dog ‼️
**Update : This little chap is back with his family**

We’ve had a dog handed in from the Shoreham Academy area.
He is small - medium breed Male, not neutered but DOES have a microchip.
However, we are unable to get hold of the microchip company as we keep getting cut off and we urgently need to find the owner.
The Southwick branch is closing early today at 13.30 and if no owner is found before then, he will be given over to the dog warden who will continue the search for the owner.

Please contact us on 01273 596201 if you have any information.

Thank you.

They are truly amazing and Grove Lodge wouldn’t work without them. The photos below are just a few of our nurses.

This little sweetheart is Dory.
She came in for her Spay today and was an absolute treasure! Dory was a little worried before her operation, so she spent some time receiving cuddles from our Vet Louise. 🐾

Unfortunately, we’ve received a deceased Cat found by a member of the public in a garden in Valley Road, Portslade.
**We are unable to locate the owner as there is no collar and no microchip.**

UPDATE: been reunited with owner😌

We’ve had this gorgeous bunny handed into us today. Found woodpecker way in durrington. Please contact us on 01903234866 if you believe to be yours😌

10/08/2022

We have been handed a Cat by a member of the public that had sadly been found passed away in their garden shed at the weekend.
We were unable to get any other information at the time in regards to what area the cat was found, but we assume it was in the Southwick/Shoreham area.

Unfortunately, we are unable to locate an owner as there is NO microchip and NO collar.
The Cat is a black domestic medium hair, with white paws, white chest and white belly. To the best of our judgement, we also believe the Cat to be female.

If you recognise this discription, please get in touch with us and we will try to assist you further.
Thank you.

UPDATE: OWNER HAS BEEN FOUND!

🚨**Stray Dog**🚨

We’ve had a medium sized, female stray dog handed into our branch this morning. She was found hiding at a car garage in Victoria road, Southwick.

She is microchipped but we believe the information to be incorrect as we cannot reach the owner.
She has now been taken to our Worthing hospital to be cared for.
Please get in contact with us if you have any more information or believe this dog could be yours.

Proof of ownership will be required.

**REUNITED WITH OWNER**
We’ve had a stray neutered male Cat handed into us earlier today from the Roman Road area of Southwick.
He is Microchipped but unfortunately the information is not up-to-date and we are unable to locate the owner.
He is a large, black Cat with long fur, and is very distinctive as he is missing both of his ear flaps.
He is currently boarding at our Worthing Hospital for now, but you can contact us with any information on him at Southwick on 01273 596201, or the Hospital on 01903 234866.
Thank you 🐈‍⬛🐱

18/01/2022

Unfortunately, we have received a deceased cat which has been found by a member of the public in Stoney Lane, Shoreham. We are unable to locate the owner as there is no collar and no microchip. The Cat is a black and white domestic long hair, with white paws, white belly and white back legs. We believe the Cat to be an older animal due to the condition of the teeth and the lightening of the black fur around the sides and back, which is now more of a brown.
If you recognise this description, please call us on 01273596201, and we will assist you as much as we can.
Thank you.

Before you get into your car in the morning, give your bonnet a little tap. There may be a cat sleeping under there.

Please can residents in the area keep an eye out for him and check sheds/garages/out buildings incase he is stuck.
Please contact us if you find him and we will be in touch with the owners.
