**UPDATE: The Dog is now with the Dog Warden**

We’ve had a young, medium breed, unneutered male Dog handed into our branch from Southwick Hill with a lead still attached.

He is chipped but we’re unable to get hold of the owner.

If you or someone you know is missing a Dog of this description, please contact us as soon as possible.

If we’re unable to find the owner by this afternoon, we will be contacting the Dog Warden as we cannot board animals at our branch.

**UPDATE - Our internet and phone line have been restored! Please bear with us while we catch up on the many requests that we’ve recieved while offline. Our Southwick branch will still be closing early at 3pm today. Thank you for your patience while we had this problem fixed.**

We are still experiencing IT issues at our Southwick branch and have no access to our phones, emails or computer system.

We are still unable to book appointments, dispense new medications or print/send histories. Please contact another branch for assistance with these requests.

We will be open until 3pm today for collections of medications that have been pre ordered before Easter. Please only come to the branch if you have had a text message informing you that medication is ready for collection.

🐢🚨Stray Tortoise🚨 🐢

**UPDATE - OWNER HAS BEEN FOUND!**

We’ve had a stray Tortoise handed in by a member of the public from around Southwick Station. We believe her to be female and she doesn’t have a microchip.

If you or someone you know from this area is missing a Tortoise, please contact us as soon as possible on 01273 596201. Proof of ownership will be required.

We will be handing the Tortoise over to our Worthing Hospital Branch by 5pm today.

‼️Found Cat‼️

Two of our staff members have sadly found a deceased Cat on their way into work this morning.
We believe her to be female and she was found on Albion Street (A259), roughly opposite Albion House.
She is an adult, Black Domestic Long Hair, with no collar and no chip.

**UPDATE**
This little one and her owner have now been reunited!

We’ve had a Dachshund handed into our practice this afternoon from the Manor Hall Road area of Southwick.
The microchip is registered but with incorrect information.
Please note, if uncollected by 17:30 this evening, the dog will be handed over to the care of the local dog warden.
If you know of anyone missing a dog of this description, please call us for more information.

‼️ Stray Cat ‼️

**UPDATE: Owner has been found! 😊**

We’ve had a Cat handed into us found wandering in the road along Southwick Street.

He is a neutered Male, Ginger and White and has a black collar fitted with an Airtag. He does have a microchip but it’s not registered in the UK, so we are unable to locate the owner(s).
We are unable to board animals overnight at our Southwick practice and if unclaimed by the end of the day, he’ll be sent over to our Worthing Hospital.

If you know anyone with Cat of this description, or suspect him to be yours, please contact us on 01273 596201. You are also welcome to email us pictures if you think this may be your Cat.

**Update : This little chap is back with his family**

We’ve had a dog handed in from the Shoreham Academy area.
He is small - medium breed Male, not neutered but DOES have a microchip.
However, we are unable to get hold of the microchip company as we keep getting cut off and we urgently need to find the owner.
The Southwick branch is closing early today at 13.30 and if no owner is found before then, he will be given over to the dog warden who will continue the search for the owner.

We’re a little late with this one as it’s celebrated throughout May but THANK YOU to all our amazing nurses. They do so many different jobs, including; Aneasthetic monitoring, grooming, cleaning, bandaging, all-day care for our more poorly patients, consults, dispensing medication, wildlife care…

They are truly amazing and Grove Lodge wouldn’t work without them. The photos below are just a few of our nurses.
