This is Russell, his new owners contacted me as they were struggling with getting Russell to listen to them when giving him commands they also wanted help with his recall training.

After the first session his owners saw good progress with him listening to them and understanding what they were asking him to do. He is also progressing well with his Recall

I approached Wendy, as I was struggling to control my 3 year old border collie rescue dog. Mila would get overexcited and have an almost constant need for attention. Mila was also scared of being around other dogs.

After an initial call with Wendy and expressing my concerns , she could tell straightaway what the issues were, and this was confirmed after the first of three visits.

I have learned some simple but very useful techniques, that have helped my Mila become more focused. She is able to concentrate on new commands, and I feel more confident that they are working.

I highly recommend Jump4joy for their friendly, non judgemental approach and effective training.

I contacted Wendy for her help with my mini sausage dog barking when we had visitors and barking at noises in the garden. She was very helpful and gave us techniques to practice with guides to follow . Wendy is very knowledgable, patient and friendly which made her a pleasure to work with. We had excellent results and I don’t worry about visitors coming to the house any longer. My dog took to her in no time and was happy to do the training. If I had any issues in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Wendy again for help.

Pecans owners contacted me to help them understand their new puppy helping them cope with the teething biting, toilet training, basic training and general manners.

They started her training at 10 weeks old as they choose the 1-2-1 puppy training programme at their own home so they did not have to wait until she was fully vaccinated which stopped her picking up bad habits. They also attended the 5 Week Group training programme to help Pecan with distractions of other dogs while learning the training techniques.

* We used both the 121 service and the Puppy Classes. We found both very informative. The 121's were particular helpful as Wendy could focus on particular areas to work on. Each session was gentle and engaging for our puppy, she loved it and we are much more confident in training her. I would definitely recommend Jump for Joy hence the 5* rating.

This is Coco his owner had rescued him, she contacted me to help them with his reactivity to other dogs on lead and pulling on lead.

Rang Wendy as my rescue dog is reactive when he can hear/ see another dog. He was barking & pulling when out on walks. After training with Wendy I feel a lot more confident that I can control the situation & he is more focused on me. Thank you for making our walks a lot less stressful.

This is Quinn, her owners contacted me to help with her Reactive behaviour. On my first visit I observed Quinn barked at everything that passes the window. She was unable to relax as she was on high alert for danger. Her owners also had to stop walking her on the streets as they could not control her reactive behaviour so hired a private field to excercise her.

It melts my heart to hear from her owners that Quinn is now enjoying her walks and her owners have taken her on holiday with them for the first time.😍

With 1-2-1 training you can start as early as 10 weeks old in your own home, no need to wait until your puppy has its full vaccinations stopping unwanted behaviours early as puppies learn very fast.

This is Hector he was re-homed by a lovely couple who had previously lost their standard poodle due to ill health.

Hector was very distant when I first met him at one point I thought he may have been deaf as he did not respond at all and his new owners were struggling to build a bond with him, they also struggled to get Hector to walk on a lead so unable to get him to leave the house.

After the first session Hector started to connect with his owners and I could see he was more relaxed with them in his new home.

On the second session he was participating in some of the training games and starting to build his confidence. I also showed his owners how to build Hectors confidence with lead walking and in just a few days I received an email from Hectors owners to say he was making good progress and was going for walks outside the house.

I just had to let you know that Hector is doing really well with the lead, I feel quite buoyed with his progress. You have made me understand his "brain freeze" such a good expression!
