I really love to share with you guys what my groom are like with your pups.
This is Teddy and he's not had the best experiences with being groomed in the past. He's been banned from multiple groomers for being too aggressive.
On his first session a muzzle was needed at the beginning to figure out his boundaries, what he allows me to do and what his triggers are. Not just to protect my self but to also protect him. This was his third session with me, no muzzles are needed, although he's not entirely happy about it he accepts it and with a lot of praises afterwards he's trusting me and realising its not so bad after all. Taking baby steps and going at their pace makes a world of a difference
As you can see he has thrived being in a 1-1 environment, hes happy and is enjoying being groomed.
This is why I love my job, gaining a dogs trust is so rewarding 🙌♥️
