Just a short video of the filter room for Ponds 3 to 6 showing the Draco drums in full operation. They work great and I've been running them for over 3 years at Imperial Jade Koi with no issues. I nearly have the full range now from the compact Minima with internal bio, Solum 16, several Solum 25's and Medius Combi. All drums are now supplied with the brushless motor which shows how Draco is keeping up with new developments and with more to come. I can't wait to use the Solum 70 on my own pond.

System setup of ponds 3-6 as follows: Pond 3 is filtered by a Draco Solum 25 drum and standard bio which produces crystal clear water. The controller shows me every time it cleans with an LCD display which makes it very easy to know how the drum is performing.The mid range size bio from Draco has the classical curved bottom that helps circulate the media evenly from top to bottom. Again system is fitted with 2 EA Varipumps, 1 going to a Thermotech 12kw Heat pump and the second pump directly to the stainless shower at a rate of about 20,000 ltrs. The ponds are kept blanket w**d free by an Amalgam 40w UV in the drum and an external EA 55w UV. Pond temps are kept at an even 25 degrees using the Heat Pumps heating or chilling functions. The system works great and can handle a high volumes of koi which is ideal for our requirements.
Ponds 4,5 and 6 operate in a similar fashion but with a plastic shower.

Hi Everyone, just a quick description the Sales Pond systems at Imperial Jade Koi and examples of what we sell here. System 1 (Ponds 1 and 2) are filtered by a great Burtons BD300 Combi drum with a capacity of 35,000ltrs. The drum has 2 x EA Varipumps, one taking water out of the bio chamber to pond 1. The other EA Varipump takes water from the clean side of the drum to a stainless steel shower at about 20,000 ltrs. The ponds are kept blanket w**d free by 2 x submersible 20w UV's and an EA 55w external UV. The system works great with minimum maintenance and clear water.
