Derek's Dog Walking Services

Derek's Dog Walking Services We offer daily group or solo dog walks. We are Derek and Sandra Moore and are based in Brislington, Bristol and cover South Bristol for Dog Walking.

The most mportant members of the business are our 2 Labradors called Toby and Teddy, and they like nothing more than welcoming doggy friends on our walks. We are fully insured, DBS checked and trained in pet first aid. The business has been established since February 2016 and up until the end of 2020 we were licensed home boarders for dogs, but due to our own dogs now being in their twilight years

we have decided it is time for them to have their home and family back to themselves. Walks are normally with other dogs that are suitably matched to walk as a group, but we can also provide solo walks if needed. Walks are usually where there are woods, fields and water as we find the dogs have so much fun, exercise and stimulation there. Numbers are imited to a maximum of 6 for a group walk but we mainly walk less to ensure every dog has the care and attention it needs.

Finding something to protect the open ulcer on Tobes tumour on his hock has been a bit of a nightmare. He can't have anything tight around it. And you don't want anything that you have to pull up and down over it. So a trip to the charity shop was needed and today he is modelling the leg of a baby grow with fasteners for easy access and some velcro (not too tight) to hold it in place which together with the barrier cream is doing the job.

Toby and Ted just want to wish all their doggy friends a happy valentines day 💝 They may not see them anymore now they are retired from group walks but they have had some lovely times with them all ❤️❤️

Ralph and Bear barking at another dog they came across in the field. But that 'other dog' is Thea who is part of the group. She was behind them but then did a sneaky maneuver by going into the hedges and coming out way in front of them. Took them a while to realise it was her 🤣

The best dog walks if you have dogs that can be a bit reactive are those where you can avoid other dogs and this walk across open fields is great for that.

The dogs didn't know quite what to make of the chinook and other helicopters interrupting their walk at Ashton Court this afternoon.
