Meet Manny! 🐶
Little 9 week old Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy Manny visited us today for his 1st Vaccinations. Our reception team fell in love, and we're sure you can see why! 😍
It's World Diabetes Day!
Diabetes can affect our pets as well as humans, and requires lifelong treatment and monitoring. Certain health factors such as obesity and dental disease can increase your pet's risk of having or developing diabetes.
Here are some signs of diabetes in dogs and cats to watch out for:
• increased thirst and/or appetite
• increased urination
• weight loss
• lethargy/tiredness
If you have any concerns that your pet may be diabetic, please contact your vet.
September is Happy Cat Month! 🐱
A healthy cat is a happy cat, so make sure that your cat has regular check ups with a vet for health checks and preventative treatments such as vaccinations and parasite treatments.
Here's Bobby, one of our patients, enjoying a brush after coming in for a dematt. Grooming your cat can help to strengthen your bond if your cat enjoys it, as Bobby clearly does!

Look at those waggy tails! 😍
🐈 Today is International Cat Day! 🐈
We're proud to be a Cat Friendly Clinic, with separate waiting areas and a separate cat-only ward helping to make vet visits as stress-free as possible for your cat.

It's tick season!
Tick bites can be uncomfortable for our pets, especially if not removed properly. However, the bigger threat they pose are the potentially life threatening diseases that they carry.
Watch this video to learn how to safely remove ticks from your pets.
We recommend tick preventatives such as tablets and collars. If you'd like to order some for your pet, give us a call on 0117 961 6417 📞 or Whatsapp us on 0770 141 2008 📞
