Sian recently attended a Feline CPD day with Eastcott Veterinary Referrals specialists at Longleat which covered many interesting topics in feline health including the treatment of feline head traumas. 😻 Look at these purrrfectly handsome cuties! Connor & Cooper recently visited us for their routine castrate surgeries and microchipping, now they have the best chance of being reunited with their cat parents should they wander a little too far from home!🐾

During your visits you'll meet Debbie our Veterinary Care Assistant who loves to support & care for your pets whilst they're here for their treatments & check-ups. Thank you Debbie! 💙🐾
Debbie found her calling in animal care here at Clifton Vets in 2018 as a Veterinary Care Assistant and is dedicated to being a comforting presence for pets and their owners during their visits. When Debbie’s first pet dog came to her, she knew she wanted to work with animals so embarked on a career as a professional dog groomer which led to her to working further in animal care and veterinary administration here at Clifton Vets. Outside of work, Debbie enjoys getting creative with dressmaking and is the proud owner of Gracie, her Wheaten Terrier who enjoys long walks.

🐾🩺 Please join us in welcoming our new Veterinary Surgeon, David Jackson. We're very pleased for him to join our wonderful team here at Clifton vets, we think he brings great experiences and interests to the practice for you and your pets!
🐾🩺 Here's a little bit about David:
David has 15 years' experience as a veterinary surgeon in small animal practice. He originally graduated in Biochemistry from Cambridge University and then re-trained as a vet, obtaining his veterinary degree in 2009 from the University of Kosice (Slovak Republic). He has worked in a variety of different practices, ranging from small clinics to larger hospitals. David has a special interest in Internal Medicine. He is a peer-reviewed, published author in this field, has completed two years of extra training in specialist-led, multidisciplinary referral centres and is currently working towards the BSAVA post-graduate certificate in Internal Medicine. Outside of work, David enjoys rock climbing and can usually be found getting an adrenaline-fix on the limestone cliffs of the Wye Valley. He is passionate about philanthropy and has publicly pledged to donate a minimum of 10% of his life-time income to charitable causes.

We’re here to share with you the news that after 15 years, we’ll soon be saying our goodbyes as James has made the very difficult decision to leave Clifton Vets this March to pursue his love of treating eye conditions in our pets.

James will be greatly missed by everyone here and no doubt by our wonderful community of clients and their pets that have come to know him so well over the years.

Of course, James will be leaving us with lots of great memories from all the years he has been with us since taking over the practice in 2009. We know James will continue to do great things in this next chapter of his career.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank James for all the hard work, dedication and professionalism he has shown to our patients and clients here at Clifton Vets. 🐾🩺❤️
