Our dogs absolutely LOVE playing with footballs! 🐾⚽ If you have any strong leather footballs to spare, we’d be so grateful for your donation. These durable balls are their favourite, and they need to be tough to keep up with all the tail-wagging fun! Feel free to drop them at reception: note our Xmas opening hours though!

While rabbits and guinea pigs can have grapes in moderation, they're toxic to cats and dogs.🚫🐕🐈 Stick to pet-friendly treats or plain, skinless white meat like turkey (but be careful it's not covered in fat, salt, or gravy).

Let’s make this holiday safe and joyful for everyone!🐾

He's a lab cross and a great dog; even suitable for beginner dog owners!

Chance came into Bristol ARC severely underweight and in need of lots of care and attention from our veterinary team. He has since gained enough weight to move onto his new home but he still has a little way to go and will need your help!

Our Story

We’ve been caring for the city’s pets and wildlife since 1887, helping, healing and homing over 14,000 vulnerable animals each year. We are the oldest and largest local animal charity, and although we are proud to be affiliated with the RSPCA, we receive no automatic funding from it. We rely entirely on local support within the community to fund our vital work.
