Oh Archie, how you melt our hearts…..
We were pretty mean on Wednesday and took away his precious gems, but it was for his own good.
He forgave us very quickly though and started the flirt show immediately after…♥️🐾😻

How many of you have dogs who just HAVE to rid their toys of the squeaker?
After Florence is successful she prefers to play with the squeaker than the toy. Always supervised of course

Wow - where did that come from???
Think we were all surprised this morning to find this when we opened our curtains. ❄️☃️
Here are some tips for this winter weather (even though it’s March!) and keeping our pets, warm, safe and happy!

Xena came to visit us today and was an absolute champion for her blood tests
Her pawrents own and run @jebeldogsk9 so as you can imagine she is always very well behaved and well trained for any procedures including bloods
Our head nurse Caitlin is good friends with her owners and was in covering reception. She thoroughly enjoyed cuddles and play time with her furry friend Xe ❤🐶🐕🦺

On this week's #florencefridays it's more of a silly post
Florence thought it would be great fun to wake her pawrents up nearly every hour throughout the night.. she's lucky she is so cute

Beautiful Emma, mischievous Nigel and gorgeous Wicket all came in for neutering today. Rosie the practice manager could not resist a cuddle with them all 🥰 #cutepatients #neutering #bishopstonvets #Vets4pets
Drum roll please…..
Meet the fabulously handsome Alwyn everyone!
When Alwyn was left at the rescue centre he was in such a jolly mood. He had no idea it would be the last time to see the owner he adored.
Alwyn became very depressed in kennels and didn’t want to eat anything.
But the one thing helped cheer him up was playing with toys!
This is why we’re asking for all the donations we can this Christmas, for all the Alwyn’s in rescue, what ever the species.
A new toy, treat or bed to snuggle up with will brighten their day and bring them comfort this Christmas until they find their forever people.

Not all cats are as relaxed as this stunning lady, we stopped half way through her autumnal groom to give some soothing strokes
Her slow blinks are a huge sign of trust and calmness
Music added to the video afterwards of course, though it would definitely add to the relaxing spa experience she had with our nurses
❤❤

Look how adorable little Caster is! He certainly made himself known when he came in for his 2nd vaccination last week. Chihuahua’s are always such characters! ❤️❤️❤️
We absolutely love it when cats feel that comfortable to purr and accept affection from us when they visit the practice.
Flora was in for a dental last week and was such a puurrfect girl. 😻🫶
A Slow mo video of the most adorable creature you will ever meet!
Magnus the magnificent and he’s our patient, how lucky can we get!!!
Wait until he looks up.... ❤️❤️❤️
To mark the start of Rabbit Awareness Week and to celebrate Binky Day, our vet nurse Emily has made a video of two of her rabbits, Steve and Wispa, demonstrating binkies.
When a rabbit binkies, it jumps into the air and twists its head and body before falling back to the ground, this is the ultimate sign of happiness.
In order to have the happiest rabbits possible, their 5 needs of environment, diet, company, behaviour and health all need to be met, we will be discussing these throughout Rabbit Awareness Week.

Look at this beautiful girl......
This is Kyria, she came in to be spayed on Monday and she literally stole Rosie’s heart (the nurse).
She is the sweetest girl and was so good for her procedure.
If you need any advise about neutering your pet then feel free to give us a call to chat it through with a vet nurse. They can talk to you about the procedure, recovery and the benefits of neutering.
