We rescue and re-home rabbits in Bristol, UK. Please check this page and our website for animals that need new homes. Please consider adopting rather than buying from a shop or breeder. The rescue is based in Patchway, Bristol and we have many foster carers who look after the rabbits in the

ir own homes. This means that our bunnies are socialised, correctly sexed, checked for illnesses and assessed for behaviour and habits. Every time a pet is fostered, another animal in need can take its place. We also offer a bonding service and provide grooming days with all profits going back into the rescue. Join our Facebook advice group, a supportive community of bunny owners: Facebook.com/groups/607468856757849/

How to help:
We rely on our volunteers to keep the rescue running and always appreciate any help offered. Ways you can help include: volunteering (fundraising or cleaning), fostering, donating, adopting, sharing our posts, leaving us a review and spreading the word. Please contact us for more information

We need help with our Summer events! ☀️🙏🐰

We have our Big Teddy Tombola stall booked in at lots of Summer fayres all over Bristol, but we don't have enough volunteers to man them!

If you have some free weekends and fancy joining us, please pop us a message. We'd love to welcome some new faces and it would really help us raise some much needed money and awareness for the bunnies!

Foster mum said it was time to clean out the litter trays, so of course Roo and Batgirl decided it was time to hop in for a hay snack! 😅😋

On Saturday night, Angel (the white bunny in the photo) crossed over the rainbow bridge. 🌈🤍
Her bonded bestie Mystery is understandably not feeling himself, so he's spending some extra quality time with his foster humans while he grieves.

Binky free little one, you will be so missed! 🌈🐰

What we need from our foster homes:

💚A loving home provided while our rescue bunnies wait for their forever home
💚Fosters need to be able to get to our designated vets for any appointments
💚Provide food, hay and toys although we can help out sometimes if needed
💚Enough space for the bunny to exhibit their natural behaviours
💚Give us regular updates and photos to help us find them a home.

We pay for all veterinary treatment needed while the bunnies are in our care, fosterers don't need to pay a penny for this.
We can also provide set ups (dependent on whether we have any available).

If you think fostering could be for you, please don't hesitate to drop us a message. We're happy to answer any questions! 🐰

In general, rabbits moult twice a year- once in Spring and once in Autumn. This isn't strictly true for our domesticated bunnies who can shed all year round, but at the rescue we've certainly noticed our lot right on cue with the heavy spring time moults!

Moulting is completely normal. Our buns are just shedding their winter coats in preparation for the warmer weather we’re (hopefully 😉) about to have.
What you do need to look out for however, is that your bunnies aren't ingesting too much fur. Make sure you're brushing them regularly and gently pulling out those big soft tufts.
Keep an eye on p**ps, and watch out for those ones that get strung together like a weird string of p**p pearls as the first sign there's some hair in your bunny’s tummy.
If a rabbit stops eating and/or p**ping, it's an emergency and it's time to call your rabbit savvy vet asap. You don't want any gut blockages!

And, of course our fabulous grooming volunteers are on hand for that extra peace of mind if you want to get your bunnies booked into one of our monthly grooming days! ☺️🐰

Cluedo is an absolute delight! Every morning she bounds over to the volunteers to say hello and get her breakfast. She loves a good head rub and will quite happily sit for ages being fussed 🥰🥰

She is inquisitive, loves a treat and is a fabulous hay eater. Even though outside she’s a meticulously tidy bunny and literally only makes a mess in her bedroom, making her really easy to clean. She loves company and would love a new friend to cuddle up with.

Cluedo was born January 2019, and is looking for an outdoor home with a new bunny friend/friends. She is vaccinated, neutered and ready for adoption. Please fill out an adoption enquiry form on our website if you are interested in adopting Cluedo or any of our other bunnies. 💚🐰

Our Story

The Littlest Lives Rescue, formally known as the Littlest Rescue was taken over by Brittany Roberts in 2020. The Littlest Rescue was founded by Bev Taylor in 2006 where she held the main centre in her garden. Bev and the rescue have helped thousands of animals over the years and will continue to do the same for many years to come. When Bev decided to retire in 2019 Brittany, who had her own small rescue, offered to take over.

The centre has now been relocated in North Bristol, where we plan to not only help rescue rabbits but offer boarding and bonding to help create funds to keep up the work that we do. We are a rescue that widely depends on the amazing volunteers we have. This includes fostering, cleaning out, admin and fundraising. Without the goodwill of our volunteers we just couldn’t do what we do.
