See how we set up your pet for neutering in our operating theatre! 🐱
We begin in our prep room where we place an IV cannula, induce the anaesthetic and prepare the patient for surgery 👍
Theatre is where we operate. We keep our patients warm under anaesthetic with heat mats, bedding and socks! Monitoring equipment is used to monitor heart rate, breathing rate, temperature, blood pressure, ECG, SpO2 & eCO2. One of our nurses will monitor the patient’s anaesthetic while the vet operates 👩‍⚕️
The recovery kennels are kept quiet and warm. Once fully awake, Nellie was reunited with her brother Leon who was also in the same day to be castrated! 💕

Reggie (one of our staff pets!) needed his eye examined as he had a cut to his upper eye 😟
With cuddles from Kate (his human!), Reggie was a good boy for Jenny our vet to examine his eye 👁️
An orange dye was used along with the ophthalmoscope to help see whether any damage was also caused to the cornea of his eye. Luckily for Reggie, there was no damage there! 🙌
As you can see he is a very good boy at having his eye drops at home to help with any discomfort and is already on the mend! ❤️‍🩹
