Paw in Hand Dog Grooming Bristol

Paw in Hand Dog Grooming Bristol Dog Grooming the gentle way - I offer quality and gentle one on one care for dogs of small and medium breeds. Thank you for visiting! Diana

PLEASE NOTE : MY BOOKS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR NEW CLIENTS due to the number of existing customers I can not take on any more at the moment. Thank you for your understanding. My name is Diana and I am a qualified dog groomer with europass certificate (fully certified in the EU) I regard myself a compassionate groomer which means I assess and observe the pups and carefully monitor their triggers t

hroughout the groom to stay below their threshold and be able to groom them without fear, force and restraints. I am working on one dog at a time, without any rush, leaving time between grooming processes if necessary. A treat, a cuddle or short walk can be invaluable exspecially at puppies or older dogs. I have an enclosed, safe garden where they can have a rest/play betwen grooming processes. I don't use cretes they are allowed to run free in the garden after/before/during groom. I am working from home which can be really useful for anxious dogs as this is not an industrialised, hectic groming parlour. I have all the equipment, devotion, knowledge, creativity and love for dogs needed for a professional groom. Hope to see You and dogs soon !

Happened earlier this week πŸ₯° A bit of context : Teddy started to come to me almost 2 years ago, hasn't started at me as a puppy and was absolutely terrified of the big dryer. So much so, that I asked mum to bath and let him air dry at home before groom - to make it less stressful for him. Later he tolerated the stand dryer fine, so we worked with that. Well, this time he was happy and relaxed enough, so I thought time to try the high velocity dryer again. Neck down he was absolutely chill πŸŽŠπŸŽ‰πŸ€— never thought we get here, but secretly hoped we would eventually 😊 Nice suprise during a hectic week πŸ₯° Well done Teddy xx
(I have 3 dryers : a handheld that you all know, a stand dryer which is like a bit more powerful hand dryer on a stand with adjustable heat and airflow and the high velocity dryer which is made to "blast" water out after bath. This one is like a cat 3 tornado compared to the others, so understandably, some need time to get use to it x)

So this is the season... When no pup leaves without a picture, a festive bandana and a small bag of dog buscuits πŸ˜… β€οΈπŸŽ„ 🐾 I decided I've done all kinds of little keepshakes from personalised tree ornaments, to fur in epoxy through paw print on clay, picture keyrings, even the infamous natural treats πŸ˜…πŸ™ˆ but I haven't baked for them yet for Christmas πŸ˜‰ So home baked dog treats it is this year (ingredients are : Peanut butter ((and nothing else in it - 100% dog safe), carrots, wheat flour, oats, water, egg white) Since they don't last a month I'll be making them on the weekends for a fresh batch for every week x
Bubu approved πŸ˜‰ (however that's not relevant I don't think there's anything he wouldn't eat... πŸ˜†πŸ™ˆ)
See you soon! X

Good morning ❀️ Came with a recommendation 😊 as I see many of my clients are getting older (and it also breaks my heart) I know some have hyp displasia (which is not age related) or you noticed they don't want to jump up on the sofa like before perhaps excessively licking their paws (it might not be allergy). I of course notice when I can't bend, lift, touch them as I usually do on certain areas of the body - and that is more often than not connected to pain instead of them just not being in the mood for grooming. Dogs are masters of masking their pain. I thought I bring an alternative or complementary therapy, done by a lovely lady, (who is also my client with her 2 adorable dogs ❀️.) Bronwen is a true gem and I have no hesitation recommending her, there's no other way to say that I can feel her love, passion and compassion for dogs whenever I see her.

When is is it the right time to see an animal chiropractor?
"- Your pet is grumpier than usual
- Has a reduced appetite
- Struggles to jump, climb stairs or get up from sitting or lying
- Limps or walks differently
- Sits differently or lies on one side.
-Shows aggression when touched in certain places
-Licks or chews their paws
If you notice any of these changes, I advise consulting your vet to ensure there’s no underlying cause. If your vet decides that the symptoms are due to a musculoskeletal issue, then that’s when the chiropractor comes in!”

At The Animal Chiropractor Bristol, we work with the vets to ensure that adding chiropractic care to your dogs' treatment is appropriate.

Using hands-on manipulation alongside a low-level laser to gently treat sore joints and muscles, I see exceptional results in function and markedly reduced pain in dogs with chronic pain conditions such as arthritis, as well as improved acute problems.

This non-invasive treatment is pain-free, effective for reducing inflammation, and helps relieve pain and restore healthy function without side effects.

To book your dog in for help relieving chronic pain using kind and gentle adjustments and laser, call 0117 214 1153
