Hello, this is to formally say we are now closed for business. It's been a hard decision which I had made some time ago but didn't want to admit it was time to end things properly. Hi everyone, sorry it's been a while since I've posted I struggle a bit with social media.
I'm just posting to give a heads up that I'll be closed for June for a bit of clean up and rejig. Back and ready for business Monday 4th July with something additional available to buy, keep an eye further posts & stories!

Fact Friday
One of the most important parts of a plant is the part you don't usually see, the roots. The major function of the roots are to absorb water and nutrients, they are the organs of the plant. They also act as an anchor to keep the plant steady.

When plants evolved from marine species and made the move on to land they evolved two main systems to get sufficient nutrients from the atmosphere and soil, as opposed to collecting everything needed directly from the water.

White roots as in the video show that the plants are healthy; numerous and long help to hold onto the soil helping the plant to grow better.

Are you making the most of your Facebook Business page?
I attended a virtual webinar this morning organised by Canterbury BID giving some great tips on exactly this question? I wasn't sure what to expect as I'm new to Facebook but I found this workshop super helpful.
Zoe Cairns was presenting and she completely blew my mind with what is available to help build your Business page and how to use those tools, thank you so much for your time Zoe🙏🏻
One of the things I learnt was that Facebook is changing the format of Business pages and Likes will no longer be available to see, only Followers. So this may effect you if you have low followers compared to your Likes.
As a small business, building followers is something I know I need to look at but as a fairly new user to Facebook I know this will be a challenge; but I'm up for it! 🌱
So it would be great to hear from you about how you think this will effect you.

I LOVE growing microgreens. Like most things it has it's ups and downs but the sheer satisfaction of seeing the seeds I plant and nurture developing into edible nutrient packed food gives me PEACE of mind that you're getting something healthy as well as knowing the JOY of eating these superfoods.
