DOGS TRUST💛💛

I am fundraising to raise money for Dog’s Trust. I am doing this by walking 99km in the month of February.

All the dogs who are part of the ‘Poppins and Paws’ gang will be helping me with taking part🐾💛

Please help support me by donating, no matter how big or small, every penny helps!
💛 £1-£5 could pay for a range of treats for a rehoming centre which are vital in training dogs for their forever home.
💛 £40 could cover the cost of caring for one dog for one day at one of our rehoming centres.

Poppins and Paws is officially ONE🐶🐾

My little business has been open for one whole year.

This time last year I had just left a job where I was so unhappy, the stress was making me so poorly and didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. Family and friends encouraged me to look into starting my own business, providing services that I enjoyed doing the most and fast forward a year, here we are and I’ve never been happier!🩷

This year has shown me that if I put my heart and soul into something it’ll show in my work. My confidence has built up and I’m so proud of myself for what I have achieved in my first year.

There was multiple times over the last year where I struggled, was worried my business wasn’t doing good enough and was ready to quit until, friends and family told me “Rome wasn’t built in a day” and thanks to their positive and reassuring comments…I’m still here a year later with a thriving business🐶🐾

I’m so excited to see what I can achieve in the next year and super grateful for all my wonderful clients.Thank you to everyone for trusting me with their fur babies🐾🐶

I have hundreds of photos of you two from our three weeks together so picking what to post was super hard!

We had the absolute best Christmas and New Year together and I’m super thankful for all the amazing cuddles you gave me!

We went on some wonderful adventures together, shared some Christmas Day Turkey and you did wonderful at practising your tricks!

Thank you for keeping my legs warm (sometimes too warm) at night with your tight snuggles and giving me endless kisses in the morning to wake me up!

Finally, keep giving everyone your adorable puppy dog eyes and trying to get them to share their dinner. It didn’t work with me but might with someone else!😉😂

I’ll miss you both but see you next time!🐶🐾🩷

I’ve just received my gorgeous keyring’s from Indie Bee-ads and I love them!!

Indie did an amazing job at personalising these for me.
I asked for something pink, dog themed and with my business name and she smashed it!!

Indie is only a teenager and she got these made and sent out within 48 hours. Unbelivable service!

Give her page a like, share and message her to purchase some amazing personalised products.

I have had the best time walking Cookie for the last few weeks who is currently in a temporary foster home accommodation with Claire Wood 🐶🐾

He’s looking for his FOREVER HOME🤎

He’s such a good boy - okay with dogs, cats and really good with children.
One and a half years old roughly.
Loves a walk and a cuddle🥰
Needs a safe and secure garden with no gaps.

CANINE FIRST AID COURSE🐶🐾🩷

I did it!! Today I completed a face to face canine first aid course to assist me in providing the best care for my furry friends.
I learnt to do CPR on dogs, treat wounds, bandages, what to do in the case of a dog fight and much more.

Thank you to Enve Canine Services Ltd for organising the course and Kerry Stubbs from Pet Owners & Pet Professionals Animal First Aid Courses for delivering an amazing course, very informative and I’ve left with so much more knowledge.

Continuing professional development is so important to a small business like myself. I love learning new things to help me grow as a business.

Babysitting Services👩🏽‍🍼🩷

‘Poppins and Paws Care Service’ also offers babysitting services, these hours can be extremely flexible alongside other services I offer.
Daytimes (limited) and good availability in evenings.

I have worked with children since I was eighteen years old in many settings including mainstream schools, special educational needs schools and nursery settings.

Qualifications:
- Level Two in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
- Level Three Diploma for the Early Years Workforce.

I also have a good understanding of simple Makaton, simple British Sign Language (BSL) and experience with special educational needs.

If the child/children have pre-booked clubs/activities I am more than happy to continue taking them to these.

Half an hour meet and greet before babysitting to get to know yourself and your little ones before services begin.

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of walking these gorgeous rescue dogs the last few weeks.

They all have the best temperament, so affectionate and love a good run along the fields🌳

There will be one more to add to the team in the next few weeks once he’s recovered from his operation.

Thank you to their owner for rescuing them from Romania, giving them a forever home and trusting me to walk her group of furry babies🐶🐾🩷
