was at with Flip not everything goes to plan and as Clare says
'So every day is a school day! We went to CCR today for a bit of arena eventing with Flippy Dip. First time out for a few weeks post eventing and it is fair to say that the jockey was a bit ring rusty! The first round started not so bad until we got to fence 7 and I totally know what I did wrong - I faffed/hesitated/interfered to which he said no thanks, I didn’t sit it and so we had a little impromptu ground inspection / air vest test followed by a short interrogation by the medic and then the walk of shame back to the warm up arena to find Flip and get back on again 🙈🙈🙈. Flip was absolutely fine and went for a lovely canter round in the sunshine on his own until Dannie spoiled his fun and retrieved him in the warm up ring. Round 2 was much better .. I didn’t mess it up this time … and we sailed round clear - wahey! There were poles flying everywhere and the medic had a very busy morning today - he had a sheet full of names by lunchtime when we saw him getting a coffee and a snack - everyone was fine but more practice required all round I think! This is why I have to go out every week else I forget how to ride 🙈. Thanks so much to Kate and Emily, Dannie for being ever patient and also keeping us on the straight and narrow, to Matthew and Katie and the yard team, to Lottie’s mum for the video evidence of my sky diving .. and to Flippy Dip, who was super pleased to be allowed out to play again today - yay!! 🏇🏻❤️🏇🏻❤️🏇🏻❤️'
