Update for current and future clients.

As well as my canine first aid diploma (required for my licence) I have just received two diplomas (both with distinction) in Canine Communication and Canine Behaviour.

I want to stress I will not be offering behavioural training as part of a dog's stay.

There are far more expert people than I such as Val at Vals K9 Training.

Rather I did the courses to provide the best possible emotionally enriched environment for my canine clients.

Looking forward to meeting all my regulars - and new clients - in 2025.

Although closed at the moment, always on Watsapp for a chat or bookings.

Haven't posted too much recently as been really busy with canine care.

On Monday, my winter volunteer work recommences preparing rescues for their forever homes.

Physically reopen in Bromham early March - but always on Watsapp for new or returning clients to organise meet and greets/overnight trials and book canine clients' hollibobs.

In meantime, after a truly lovely six months looking after some of the most marvellous canine clients, couldn't resist posting pic of my last day. Louie. Jaidii and Milo.

Thank you to all my existing clients for a wonderful time, and looking forward to seeing you in 2025

My Google reviews can be found at https://g.page/r/CVRr4yh73LbnEB0/review - after 132 individual bookings this year, doesn't appear many. But as most of my clients are frequent returners, guess that's the best accolade/endorsement can have.

Haven't posted for a while as been real busy with canine clients. Couldn't resist today's video though. Charlie and Gerry auditioning for SCD 2024. Just love this job.

What a truly lovely month it has been despite having to walk dogs in rain.

One of the highlights was taking regular client Hugo to participate in family wedding.

He behaved beautifully and looked most handsome in the outfit provided by his parents.

So here's this month's cutie canine captures ...

PS due to being awarded an upgraded licence (max three small/medium dogs) do still have some Mid July and Mid August dates available for one dog to complete the canine crew

As most of my canine clients are frequent/longstanding , I don't expect to receive reviews for their multiple visits.

The fact I make their pooches happy (and give them peace of mind when owners away is sufficient for me).

But two lovely longstanding owners have felt compelled to leave reviews. As per below. Am so happy the dogs and owners are happy. That makes it all sooo worthwhile.

"We are over the moon to have found Caroline. Being new dog owners, finding a caring and responsible boarder for Charlie was a concern. We needn’t have worried, Charlie has now enjoyed several stays with Caroline and Nick and they have provided such a loving home from home.
The regular updates, pictures and videos have enabled us to see what a fun time he is having and how he is loving his doggy cuddles and massages!
With Charlie booked in for a longer stay over the summer, it is so reassuring to know that we can have a relaxing holiday knowing he will be receiving such loving care.
We certainly hit the jackpot when we found Caroline and would not hesitate to recommend her."

"This is the 2nd year Nala has been to stay with Caroline for a long weekend whilst her humans had a little trip away …and what a lovely foster doggie mummy she is… lots of updates and photos of how well our Poochie settled in the home and out on the walks.
Caroline loves your dog like her own and makes them feel very welcomed in her home!
Would certainly recommend Caroline’s canine comfort"

What a lovely month April has been. Welcoming long term clients for both hollibobs and day care. And getting to know some new canine clients. Just love some of their names. Dora. Hugo. Alfie. Indie. Cashew. Stephen (def with a 'ph'). Marjorie. Freddie. Harry and Sidney. Roy and Hetty. Lovely jobbly with them all this month.
Some arrive with reported anxiety needs. Others with specific medical conditions.
All welcomed with open arms and love. Just love meeting these dogs and their lovely owners

March has been a month of mainly meet and greets with pre-registration overnight trials.

A couple didn't make it. Nothing amiss with them. Just, as a quasi-doggy dating agency, I have to balance how each dog is likely to get on with other dogs in my care.

Some old, and not so old, canine clients also returned in the last couple of weeks.

And today, for first time using my upgraded licence capacity to host three pre-registered dogs at a time. having a lovely time with Cozmo, Hugo and Lottie.

My little lamb as I call him who stayed on trial last night is proof that disability does not disbar from doggie enjoyment.
Suffers from blindness, deafness and a metal knee.
Joined in with everything (at his pace) and spaniel Patch (and of course my little Sh*tzhu) enjoyed his company.
As did I. Enormously.
I know some home boarders shy away from dogs with disabilities.
I have looked after a lot of rescues with varying disabilities including without back legs (using a wheeled aid to get around) and they are always such joy to host.
So looking forward to having my little lamb back for his hollibobs in April.

What a delightful doggy week it has been.

Meeting long term client canine companions and welcoming new ones (and their lovely owners) to the fold.

Topped off by a bunch of flowers by one new client for looking after her poorly pup (part of the job but still much appreciated) and the lovely words of another that they had struck gold with me for their pooche's future hollibobs.

Just a few pix of the wonderful lads and lassies I was fortunate enough to host in last seven days ....

Each with their own temperaments ... which often changes on day 2 when paws firmly under table. Hence why overnight trials are so important.

A lovely waggy week ...

After a failed trial last night (dog lovely but didn't work out) was feeling despondent this morning.

So squeezed Bobby in for a second elongated meet and greet.

Apparently a very nervous dog and owners want to take slowly. Hence multiple meet and greets before committing to overnight trial stay.

I will always do as many informal meet and greets that diary allows to ensure human and canine clients feel comfortable and have trust in me.

Bobby now coming soon for his trial overnight. Which I am sure will pass with flying colours.

So yesterday we went from the cockapoo on steroids to Stamford ... an aged lab who travels with the largest dog bed have ever seen. He is just so gorgeous. Eats like a horse and walks beautifully despite suffering from stiff joints.

As with all so far this year, has passed his trial and will miss him when he leaves today.

Got a bit behind posting this week. Paperwork is enormous being a licensed boarder.

But just introducing Charlie. Body of a cockapoo. Attitude of a spaniel.

Have never seen a cockapoo being able to jump so high (good thing I have high gates) or so active.

Bit like a spaniel on steroids. Which is a compliment to Charlie as so much fun.

Just looking forward to him being with other dogs during his multiple booked stays. He is just going to love playing with dogs above his bodyweight and breed.

PS whilst at 18 months and world so exciting to be engaged with, still loves his baby type massages when tired ....

After a sunny winter in Spain rehoming rescues, re-opened at the weekend to a month packed with meet and greets and overnight trials.

First up was Cozmo.

The most gorgeous flat coated retriever/spaniel cross. Nick was so enamoured with him allowed him to have HIS sofa spot.

Cozmo has passed his trial with flying colours and look forward to hosting him for his hollibobs very soon.
