Haven't posted for a while as been real busy with canine clients. Couldn't resist today's video though. Charlie and Gerry auditioning for SCD 2024. Just love this job.
My little lamb as I call him who stayed on trial last night is proof that disability does not disbar from doggie enjoyment.
Suffers from blindness, deafness and a metal knee.
Joined in with everything (at his pace) and spaniel Patch (and of course my little Sh*tzhu) enjoyed his company.
As did I. Enormously.
I know some home boarders shy away from dogs with disabilities.
I have looked after a lot of rescues with varying disabilities including without back legs (using a wheeled aid to get around) and they are always such joy to host.
So looking forward to having my little lamb back for his hollibobs in April.
What a delightful doggy week it has been.
Meeting long term client canine companions and welcoming new ones (and their lovely owners) to the fold.
Topped off by a bunch of flowers by one new client for looking after her poorly pup (part of the job but still much appreciated) and the lovely words of another that they had struck gold with me for their pooche's future hollibobs.
Just a few pix of the wonderful lads and lassies I was fortunate enough to host in last seven days ....
Each with their own temperaments ... which often changes on day 2 when paws firmly under table. Hence why overnight trials are so important.
A lovely waggy week ...
