🦎 BELLS ANIMAL BOARDING 🦎
Who are we?
I have years of experience as an Environmental and Animal Educator, based both locally and at various wildlife parks - including at a world renowned zoological park in the centre of London 😉
I worked extensively with small mammals, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. My roles have included presenting animal education sessions, as well as husbandry and day-to-day specialist animal care. Target training, diet, animal behaviour, enrichment and monitoring health and wellbeing were integral.
My husband shares the passion for animals and we have taken in many exotic and domestic animal rescues over the years!
Our current full-time residents includes a blue tongued skink, a tegu, sugar gliders, axolotls, tree frogs, lizards, rabbits, ferrets, a giant tortoise and more. We also keep lots of inverts including Madagascan hissing cockroaches, giant millipedes, African land snails, and spiders.
Our services;
• We will consider boarding any small animal – but only if we feel we could give it the care and attention necessary.
we specialise in reptile care.Please message for daily rates and further details.
• We have a range of indoor and outdoor enclosures, all of which meet RSPCA guidelines. These include; vivariums, tanks, hutches, cages and other indoor and outdoor enclosures. We are happy to adapt to suit your pet’s needs or accommodate your own enclosures. (It is often easier to transport and house your small mammals and amphibians in their own familiar surroundings)
We can also do home visits! (In the past we have found it a challenge to find someone to feed our snakes etc whilst on holiday so wanted to take some of that stress away for other people)
• We will discuss carefully your pets’ dietary needs and accommodate them accordingly. To minimise stress, we encourage owners of exotic pets to provide any specialist food their pet is accustomed to.
• Daily enrichment is an essential part of the day for all animals in our care.
