Our next group course held in Worcestershire will be Saturday 25th March.

You will be taught how to operate an ultrasound scanner and transducer in order to perform a thorough abdominal examination on a bitch so that you can confidently identify pregnancy versus non-pregnancy.

Meet Doppler, our new VIS mascot!

Doppler is a special puppy, she was referred to our Sonographer who specialises in echocardiology for a scan after the breeder's vet found a heart murmur.
Unfortunately, Doppler, has complex cardiac disease, her prognosis is unclear, and will need regular echocardiograms to keep an eye on her condition.

A hard puppy to rehome, but our Sonographer has taken it upon herself to adopt her!
Doppler is a Sheltie (aka Shetland Sheepdog), and is currently 12 weeks old and is an exceptionally good girl !

With the right probe type (microconvex), you can also scan smaller animals such as guinea pigs and rabbits, with scanners like the VIS 1000.
