12 months ago I took the plunge, retired from nursing and set up my small business KLC Dog Walking and Pet Care 🐶🐾 it’s been a great year. I’ve been lucky to have great support from family, friends and the Facebook community and have built up a fabulous group of furry friends to take me out every day exploring 😊🚶‍♀️🐕🐶
I have stuck to my plan to do one to one walks only rather than group walks, and have had some fab walks around bromsgrove, and droitwich areas. I’ve done some drop in visits too for a range of pets including the lovely Molly cat and Raoul the chinchilla 🐈🐭💕
Those who know me know I’m pretty rubbish with social media but I pledge to try to post some pics during my year 2 and introduce my new furry mates 🤣 watch this space !!!

This beautiful girl, Mollie was one of the gang for a couple of weeks over the summer whilst her family were on holiday and needed a dog walker temporarily as the gentleman caring for her was not able to walk her. Mollie was a star and we loved our walks in the local woods. 🐾🐶💕
Hopefully we will meet again, it’s hard when you have to say goodbye, but great to know you were able to help out. 😁

I have started a challenge for Breast Cancer Now to complete 10,000 steps a day through June. I am donating the first £1 from each dog walk. Today Tess was my first companion for this challenge. Thanks Tess🐶💕

This little cutie, Dexter was the inspiration behind KLC. He is part of the family and lives in Droitwich.
During the pandemic he was lucky to have his mum and dad working from home, but for the last few months they have had to go to the office sometimes. When they do, I pop in for a cuddle, and we go for a walk at lunchtime 🐕💕 I always send a pic to his mum so she knows he is ok. I hope to be able to offer the same to others who may now find they have to leave their pets home alone for longer than they’d like.

36 years of nursing completed 😀
Now is the time for a new adventure and KLC dog walking and pet care is launching.
As a lifelong pet owner and lover of the outdoors, combining my love of dogs and all things furry with walking is a dream job 🐕🐶💕
I can’t wait to meet my first furry customer and their owner of course.
