At Absolutely Grooming we sometimes experience dogs that do not enjoy the dryer, so we use a head/ear snood to help. We use ways to always provide a stress free time for your dog in the salon xx

This is what we love🥰 a young puppy enjoying his first visit and feeling comfortable enough to have a little kip on the table, and at the end of the day, walking away still wagging its tail. Starting puppies off young is vital for them to introduce them to all that comes with grooming and the grooming salon. With all the new noises and sounds it can be very scary for them, and it’s best not to force them too young and expect too much of them. Here at Absolutely Grooming we like to take the time and care on all our doggies, especially pups. And this is a fine example of a chilled out, relaxed, happy puppy at just 3 months old, not long after all his vital first injections. - Becky C

Look at sweet boy Benji💙 loved his groom so much he physically couldn’t stay awake. - Becky. C This is the result of a puppy coming in early on after his 2nd injections and getting use to the basics and to us. He has no fear, enjoys it and loves coming and seeing us and can fully relax during his groom, or should I say spa treatment😂 If you or anyone you know has just got a puppy or are thinking of getting a puppy, please inform them/get it into a groomers as soon as it is safe to do so. Unfortunately we do get a lot of puppies that come later on in their life, and this can result in fear, stress and dislike to the salon, groom and groomer. Coming early on also helps to minimise matts which allows us to take our time getting your pup use to it all, rather than having to do the humane thing in clipping off a young pup because it’s severely matted.
