Hillfields Animal sanctuary would like to give the BIGGEST thank you to FARS animal sanctuary for helping us on their day off to help us fix the fences that were damaged in storm Darragh. We honestly could not have done it without your help. You were all amazing. Fences are back up so now so our deer and Muntjac know they are safe in their haven they have here.
Huge thanks to JAKE the tree surgeon who cut down our nextdoor neighbours tree that had fallen onto our fence and smashed it down. Thank you all so much!!! We have a little more to do still but this has taken a huge weight off our shoulders.

Hillfields Animal Sanctuary would like to wish all our supporters a very happy new year and hope it’s a good one for you all.

We would also like to thank each and every one of you for the donations in our recent appeal after that awful storm we all had. It has helped us so much. And without everyone’s support we would have been unable to make a start on repairs. So we thank you all so much for anyone who donated.

If anyone would still like to donate to the appeal it would still be very much appreciated. We are also still desperate for anyone who could donate a couple of loads of concrete ready mix for our stables.

‼️‼️‼️‼️URGENT APPEAL‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Hillfields Animal Sanctuary are in desperate need of help. Due to the storm the weekend it’s caused utter devastation and we are in urgent need of the following help:

‼️Concrete round the horses stables as due to the flooding it has made the mud so deep we have a job for the animals to walk into the stables and use them. If anyone knows anyone who could send a couple of concrete lorries full of concrete.

‼️Harris fencing, 6ft panels 5ft panels , felt for roofs and anyone who could help us with the fallen fencing.

‼️The cattery roof has blown off, there are numerous fences down, stable roof leaking, sheep shelter felt which is leaking in. We have wildlife who live in our one over grown field where deer feel safe and all the fencing has come down in there. Trees fallen onto fences. The blind sheep has a tree fallen in her paddock and we can’t move her as she’s familiar with the surroundings in there and we cannot move the tree . The decking has collapsed and the blind puppy goes out there and we cannot use it now.

‼️If anyone can help in any way, donations , man power, a group of helpers to help us for a day . Contractors or anyone who could do anything to help us. We appreciate everyone’s in the same boat if not worse and it’s hard as Christmas is around the corner but any form of help would help us so much. Funds are so low and we cannot afford to correct all of this as well as hay, feed, vets bills for the animals also.

Good morning everyone, This is a "thank you" from Ingrid to those who attended the Quiz evening at Blackwell Club. The Club has made us so very welcome and Sue says she would be happy for us to organise more events there to raise money for Hillfields. Over to you for ideas of what events you would like us to organise. Any ideas welcome either on here or message me. Many thanks Pam.
