We had a great night at Blackwell Club last night being entertained by the lovely Sally Gauntlett. We managed to raise £565 for the Sanctuary, people were very generous. Talking of generous, it is Harrison's birthday on Wednesday and as a surprise gift for him Ingrid presented him with her very own drum kit! Harrison was so shocked by this wonderful, generous gift and Ingrid then gave him his first lesson. Way to go Harrison a drummer in the making.

With winter fast approaching Hillfields are desperate for funds for winter hay and feed and vets fees for our 300 plus rescued animals. Whatever anyone can afford.

Please remember we have a fundraiser on Saturday18th November that is in just over a weeks time. It features the great singer Sally Gauntlett. Do get your tickets if you have not done so already. It will be a great night out. Hoping to see you there.

QUIZ NIGHT
Only a few days left now before the event. Marquee is going up today, let's hope it is not too windy. Please remember to let us know if you are fielding a team if you have not already done so.
Burcot Grange have been so generous, kind and helpful. They are funding the wine, putting vegan chocolates on the tables, some raffle prizes and tea and coffee for those who want it. This in addition to supplying the venue and other equipment. We are so grateful to them for all their help and support.

A shout out for Burcot Grange, they are being so generous in the preparations for the Quiz Night next week. Nothing is too much trouble for them and we really do appreciate all the help they are giving us. I can now confirm that tea and coffee will also be available for those wanting it. They are also donating some raffle prizes to help us. What a wonderful community spirit they are showing.

If you are planning to bring a team for the Quiz on the 20th do remember to let us know. Supper included plus a glass of Pimm's, a glass of wine and the chance to win £100 if your team comes 1st! All proceeds on the night will go to help the animals at Hillfields and there are plenty of mouths there that need feeding! Horses, Cats, Pigs, Goats, Sheep etc.

Quiz Night on the 20th The First Prize is £100 this has been donated by a local businessman and another local small business is donating £50 for second prize. The Quiz Master is Stuart Telford from Birmingham. Ingrid and Pam are donating a bag of crisps each for the team who come last! In addition to a glass of Pimm's or a soft drink on arrival Burcot Grange are donating a free glass of wine too. The Supper is also including in the ticket price. This should be a really good night.
