Rupert✨

Cockerpoo puppy, Rupert, came for his second puppy groom this week and he absolutely smashed it, taking it all in his stride! He wasn’t phased by the stand dryer at all or the clippers on his paw pads.

Puppies like Rupert, show the importance of puppy grooms on dogs and how it makes the whole experience much more relaxing and enjoyable for them 🐶🫶🏻

Katie, Eddie and Phoebe✨

You might recognise these faces from previous posts but usually Katie & Eddie come together and then Phoebe comes on her own as she can be a little anxious.
However, today for the first time they all came together and Phoebe absolutely smashed it !! She even decided after she was done, to join Eddie back on the table whilst he was being dried.

You will need to bring your dog along for a 15 minute consultation and trial first to ensure they are eligible for Emmi-pet and we can then book in for your dog's deep clean session; remember, it is NOT an alternative to vet teeth cleaning- wobbly teeth, complete covering of plaque, redness of gums all make your dog not eligible for emmi-pet.

Oh my goodness look how cute this gorgeous bundle of fluff is !!

Rupert came for his first ‘puppy groom’ with me yesterday and smashed it ; a ‘puppy’ groom consists of bath, dry, nail trim a little face trim and a trim around the feet and bum!

This follows on from an initial meet where the puppy will come with their parents and explore the groom room, meet me and this typically lasts 20-30 minutes 🐶

As you walk down the side of my house to the back garden there is a garage on its own with 2 cars on the drive (most of the time); this is NOT my drive so please do NOT block this as it isn’t fair on my neighbours to not have access throughout the day.

Please park across the road or outside/bottom of my drive is ok !

Puppy groom ramp work✨ As we all know puppies are easy to lift, and it would be so easy to do this whilst Bella is small however, being a Golden Retriever she is going to be a big dog and I definitely dont want to be lifting her, or any other large dog into the bath!

Puppies ✨ It’s so important to ensure your puppy is used the grooming process as early as possible; once your pup has had their second vaccinations and is can start going on walks they can come for puppy sessions🐶 ✨it’s beneficial for getting your pup used to being handled which can help for vet visits, medication administration at home and of course at home grooming maintenance ✨ it can help grow their confidence as a young pup as they’ll be experiencing around unfamiliar objects, sights, sounds and smells different from home ✨long coats, short coats, drop coats, double coats and curly coats should all be used to grooming as trying to introduce the process to an adult dog can be very worrying for them and make the process a lot longer! Jaxon✨ This handsome boy came in for his regular de-shed and look at all that hair 😳 (hence the mosquito net hat😂) Regular de-sheds help to remove all of Jaxon’s dead undercoat which will help him to regulate his body temperature more easily, reduces matting, makes his coat lovely and glossy after and removes any dirt or bacteria that can harbour in the undercoat! Arlo✨ The most handsome boy who came in for a groom this week ! I prefer to dry and brush some dogs, especially larger breeds, on the floor so that they can move away when they want. Smaller breeds I give regular breaks from the table else I’d break my back doing small breeds on the floor 😂🫶🏻
