The Scottish Agritourism conference is Scotland’s largest annual gathering of agritourism businesses.

Farmers selling their produce direct, with shops, cafés, accommodation, events, tours, play centres and more will assemble at Perth concert Hall on Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th November along with a wide range of sector supporters, to hear from some truly inspirational speakers from both at home and abroad.

You don’t have to be a member of Scottish Agritourism to attend – anyone with an interest in agritourism is welcome to embrace this opportunity for knowledge exchange, to discuss the big issues in agritourism, share and network. The programme also includes a networking drinks reception and the annual sector dinner and ceilidh.

A huge congratulations to Go Rural farms Marshalls Farm Shop, Lower Mill of Tynet Farm and Smailholm Mains Cottages for their fantastic achievements at last night’s Scottish Agricultural Awards 2024!

Marshall’s Farm Shop have won ‘Diversified Farm of the Year’, while Lower Mill of Tynet Farm triumphed in the ‘Sustainable Farm of the Year’ category and Smailholm Mains Farm took home 'Sheep Farm of the Year'.

A big well done also to Jacksons At Jedburgh, Springfield Farm Holiday Pods, Fearn Farm and Isle of Mull Cheese for reaching the finals.

It’s fantastic to see so much representation from Go Rural!

Huge congratulations to Go Rural members Blackstone Clydesdales & Isle of Mull Cheese on their recent award success!

✨ Blackstone Clydesdales have won 'Best Visitor Attraction' at the West of Scotland Thistle Awards and are now heading to the national finals in November 2024.

🌱 Isle of Mull Cheese has been shortlisted for ‘Sustainable Farm of the Year’ at the Scottish Agriculture Awards. This recognises their commitment to minimising waste and utilising Mull’s natural island resources to generate heat & electricity.

Congratulations also to Scottish Agritourism board member Fiona Campbell, ASSC Scotland, who has been recognised as ‘Tourism Individual of the Year’ in the West of Scotland Thistle Awards.

Good luck to all the other Go Rural nominees in the Thistle Awards, who will find out in the next few weeks if they progress to the grand final!

Today's #Lambathon comes from Jo Morris at The Snug at Logie Farm on the east coast of Fife! There will be lots of ewes and lambs to meet during our visit to their lambing shed. The farm has about 550 ewes and is around 3/4 through their lambing for the year. Watch from 1pm!
