🩷Assistant Animal Welfare Apprentice🩷

We are looking for an aspiring individual who really wants to work and care for animals. Your job role will consist of caring for a range of different dog breeds , from cleaning to grooming to feeding and much more.

Duties include:
•Feeding
•Cleaning
•Bathing/drying dogs
•Cleaning Kennels to a good standard
•Helping clean and rear puppies
•Keeping on top of washing (Salon towels/dog beds)
•general cleaning of the salon

We are looking for someone who :
•Uses their own initiative
•Punctual
•Can manage their own time
•Passion to work with animals
•Enthusiasm, commitment, caring nature
•Must be trustworthy
•Able to work as part of a small team and take responsibility.
•Problem solver

Monday / Tuesday / Friday 9-5
Wednesday / Sunday 9-2
34 hours a week National minimum apprenticeship wage (£6.40 ph)

You will be required to work 2 trial days as part of your interview.

Happy to say I PASSED!! 🎉🍾 I’ve been working towards my IPet Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management as you can never have enough skills. And I’m happy to say I’ve passed one of my grooming demonstrations today. 😍🥇🤩 The groom was hand scissored by me. This is Poogie the Poodle 🐩 who was a fantastic model! 🤩🩷🐩 onwards and upwards ! 🔝🔝🔝

We had a great day yesterday doing our IPET Level 3 Canine Pet First!! Making sure your pets are always receiving the best care 💕💕 we all enjoyed the day and happy to say we passed CPR, bandaging a dog and how to record a dogs heart rate / breathing. It’s was amazing and so much knowledge. This is why it’s super important we need to recap this every 3 years as it always changes. Three certificates for the new salon wall 🥂✨🐾
