Bagheera
❤️PLEASE SHARE❤️ You may have seen us post recently about one of our longest staying cats - The handsome Bagheera. Sadly, he is still available for adoption and we cannot understand why as he is the sweetest boy!
We wanted to share some lovely videos of him from this afternoon enjoying having a groom and playing with his fishing rod toy, to show you more of his personality.
Bagheera (3years old) came into CP in January 2024 after he was found straying. He was briefly adopted but sadly returned through no fault of his own. He found the centre environment quite scary to begin with. After some TLC and love from his cat carers you can see how well he is doing now, and his confidence is growing day by day!
He is a big softy really and we were told he loves a cuddle and is a lapcat at home. He is looking for a home with no children. Bagheera could live with another quiet cat. Could his forever home be with you? Please visit this link to apply for him - www.cats.org.uk/bridgend#adopt-16942
You can meet Bagheera - Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sundays (Closed on Tuesdays) between 11am - 2.40pm. We cannot wait to introduce him to you 😻
Meet the beautiful Dezzie. She came into CP when her owner was in poor health and could no longer care for her. She is looking for a home with no young children or other pets. Dezzie was very shy on arrival to the centre, and has spent some time with one of our wonderful fosterers who has cared for her at home and helped her gain some confidence. Dezzie is thriving in foster but sadly is being overlooked as she is not currently at the centre. Dezzies fosterer has said that Dezzie is very sweet and making good progress, so she needs another patient and understanding owner who can give her the time needed to settle and continue to socialise her and give her the TLC she needs. If you would like to enquire about Dezzie please click the link below.

Good news! Dimitri has been adopted and is settling well in his new home 🥰
⭐ Longest Staying Cat ⭐
Please share to help Dimitri find his forever home 🏠
This handsome boy is called Dimitri and sadly this is his second visit here through no fault of his own. He first came in as his owners were moving and not allowed pets, he was then adopted but sadly returned when his last owner moved into a house with another cat and he was very stressed. For this reason
Dimitri needs to be the only pet going forward as he does not get along with other animals. Dimitri is very affectionate and loves fusses and attention. His last owner said he used to love sleeping on her bed, he enjoys playing with feather stick toys and loves catnip. Dimitri has asthma so we are looking for a smoke free home. Can his forever home be with you? xx

🎄Long staying cat, please help find Thomlyn a home in time for Christmas 🎄
Let us introduce you to the handsome Thomlyn 😻 We are looking for specific home for Thomlyn with no other pets. Due to him only having 3legs from an accident he had previously which has not stopped Thomlyn's zest for an active life. In his previous home he was mostly an indoor cat but now he could live in a home with a safe and secure garden where he can potter around using up some of his energy in! A home with an older family to play with some of his many toys is just what he needs and hopefully in time for more toys from Santa 🎅We can give you lots of enrichment tips to keep him entertained in the home. If you think he is the cat for you contact us at www.cats.org.uk/bridgend

We have a special little cat who is currently in foster but available for adoption. Nolly found it a little stressful and was fur plucking at the centre for her welfare we decided with the support from our behaviour team that she would be happier in home environment.
From our foster carer.
The difference is amazing in the short 36hrs Nolly has relaxed and trusts me, but now I am seeing what a star she is. Nolly is highly inquisitive and likes plenty of interesting things to explore & watch, as well as to play with. Access to the outdoors is a must for her to be able to play & explore the environment.
Nolly is tremendously agile and enjoys being active, though equally, she loves company and is very affectionate and would make the perfect family pet 💖

😻Happy Ever After Update 😻
Today we have had a lovely update from Harry's owner, you may well remember him from his weight loss journey. Having come into care weighing 7.78kg he was put on a strick diet of Satiety biscuits and since being homed his owner has been supporting his weight loss and he is getting lighter and now weighs 5.7kg 🙂
Harry is amazing! He's got a super sweet personality and this morning I woke up to a lovely warm back as for the first time, he had snuggled up with me on my bed. He and my other cat are very relaxed with one another too and he follows her around, keen to learn more about being a cat in this household.
Proof that cats over 10yrs old still have so much love to share 💖
Please feel free to add photos of your Happy Ever Afters🐾💕🐾
