So lovely to see Jazz fully integrating with the herd 🙌😍💜

It's taken a while as big Bruce was NOT a fan when she arrived lol but as you can see here they are now good pals and have regular grooming sessions 😊🥰

As the newbie, she is of course still bottom of the pecking order and it only takes an ear flick from the others to make her bolt out of the way bless, but that's becoming pretty rare now and there's many more snuggly moments between them all 😀

Our two old ladies chilling with the 2 cheeky lil dudes grazing behind 😎 Highland Merry is 28 and has been with us since birth!! Little Dartmoor Cookie is 24, she's been here around 11 years since her rescue from a breeding farm 💜

Now our fencing is sorted we can finally start planting safe from cheeky goat faces hooray!! 😅🙌😍

The first few willow whips in at last to start creating a screen from the road as well as wind break, soggy ground management, wildlife haven AND eventually food for the babies and fuel for the people! 🤗✨Approx 100 more to go!️💜

So exciting to be able to start some of these long awaited projects....its been a long time coming but there's light at the end of the tunnel!! 😊✨️

And so it begins!! 😆🙄😳 shedding season has kicked off with a vengeance here thanks to the beautiful weather 🌞💜

Wiith 9 Equines here, most with huge fluffy coats and shedding issues, this will be our new task for hours every day for weeks to come lol 😆 it's a lovely time for bonding with the gang though, even if we do end up covered in floof and with mouths full of the stuff haha 😄 🙄🥰

Unfortunately our aging Groomi Tool s (the BEST for the job!!) are not performing at their best any more and we could desperately do with some more de fluffers so that multiple babies can be pampered simultaneously! 😅🙏

We've added a few shedding tools to our long forgotten Amazon wishlist, along with some supplements, feed and equipment which would really help us out...if anyone was able to send a little gift for the furry gang we'd be very grateful! 💜💜

We will run 2 sessions over the Easter holidays for now, with a view to making it a regular Club with recurring members if demand is there 😀

🏳️‍🌈 RURAL TOUR EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT 🏳️‍🌈

We are partnering with Harmony Fields to bring you, Meditate With The Herd as part of our Stirling Pride Rural Tour.

The event will be held on 31st August at Harmony Fields near Buchlyvie.

We have a limited number of spaces for this exciting event, where you will meet the horse herd and be able to join them in a relaxing session on the farm.

Tickets are £20 with proceeds being split between Stirling Pride and Harmony Fields. Harmony Fields are a non-profit wellbeing sanctuary for people and rescued animals just outside Buchlyvie.

HUGE NEWS!!! We can now reveal the first part of what's been going on around here over the last couple of weeks!

We are so excited and grateful to announce that thanks to Forth Valley & Lomond CLLD funding, we actually have proper fencing!! 🙌😀🎉🎉💜

As anyone who knows us will be well aware, this has been a dream for the longest time, a vital step on the road to proper operation, and the support from this wonderful fund has allowed us to finally make a start!!

Our grand plan to create safe spaces for group and community activities, as well as install a track system for land management, educational visits, and of course the wellbeing of our precious herd, has taken a huge leap forward after the HARDEST few years!! 🍾🥰

These individual areas will mean we can start to safely accommodate multiple groups and activities simultaneously for the first time, and is the first stage of our Creating Harmony project which will develop accessible spaces for community groups and local facilitators to use, share and bring people together ❤️

Feel free to reach out if you'd like to chat about making use of our spaces, we'd love to connect and are excited to hear what you'd like to do here for the wellbeing of YOUR people! 😊 💜

It's not all good news though 😟😱 as you will see from the pictures, poor poor Hamish was most confused and indignant that he can no longer push his way through any and all barriers to access the entire site to his heart's content!! 😆😜 Poor lil man, tis a huge shock to the system....AT LAST, we have a chance to properly manage his humongous waist line by limiting his grazing bless him 😂😂🥰

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the FVL team for their support, and to everyone involved in helping us secure this funding, at long LONG last we are able to make some positive steps towards where we need to be, creating this wellbeing sanctuary for us all! 🙌🎉🥰

As we slowly start to emerge from winter slumber and look towards summer days, we are at last in a position to begin to grow our wonderful volunteer team once more, hooray!! 🙌😊🎉

All positions will involve some animal care and LOTS of animal cuddles (of course!! 😆🥰), however we do have the basic animal duties mostly covered, so at this time we are primarily looking for -

💜 Physically fit, strong people who are not afraid to get muddy and are keen to get stuck in with heavier, muckier tasks to assist with vital site development in all weathers, such as digging, lifting/laying mud mats, bashing in fence posts etc etc

AND

💜 Friendly, kind, animal loving souls who'd be in their element hosting visitors, supervising animal interactions etc, and potentially organising/running wellbeing activities/groups amongst the animals.

If either of these opportunities calls to you, and you are 16+ with regular availability, please reach out either by messenger or by emailing [email protected] with some info about yourself, your passions, availability etc ☺️🙌💜

Everybody loves some loose hay piles! 😆😍 they have netted round bales 24/7 but sometimes get a few free access piles to share as a wee treat! 😊💜

This lil crazy reckons spring has sprung lol 😆 don't know what's gotten into her today !! 😱😳😅😍 unfortunately didn't have my phone to capture the initial full pelt flat out charge from top of hill accompanied by teeny Hamish with both bucking and f*rting like loons, culminating in a massive rear from Jazz for about 10 seconds! 😲😅 guess she's feeling frisky 🤷‍♀️🙌🥰
