🌟 MEET OUR MIRACULOUS CALF! 🐮✨⭐️ Awesome news to share this morning from the farm! 🌞 You may have seen when visiting us that we had a new little highland calf go down with flystrike. 🚨 This is where flies lay eggs on animals that hatch into little maggots that can kill an animal VERY quickly! 🐛 Luckily, our animal care team spotted something wasn’t right and brought mum and calf in from the fields straight away! 🏃‍♂️🌿 Thanks to the quick actions of our dedicated animal team, and our veterinary support, we were able to treat the flystrike right away. 🚑👩‍⚕️ Although a patchy hairstyle, our beautiful white calf is doing really well and is getting back to her usual self! 🌱💪 She is back to frolicking around, enjoying the fresh farm air 🌬️🌾, and bringing joy to everyone who visits! 😄 We hope to get her and mum back out to our highland fold very soon! 🐮🌳 Be sure to say hello in the farmyard this week 😊 #FarmLife #AnimalCare #CalfLove #VisitUs #southmoorvets
