“Christmas at Pennywell - improved with more time to play!😍
This is one of our absolutely most magical ✨ Christmas experiences that we do every year 🎅 and I urge anyone and everyone with small children 👨👩👧👦 to enjoy it together as a family.
This year they have kept what’s always been fab and have made some improvements too. 🎉 There’s part that’s a guided experience and part that’s free play!
🎁 What to expect:
The first half is a guided experience:
✨ A completely interactive nativity 🌟 with costumes for little ones 👶 (and adults) to wear over their coats 🧥, a real donkey 🐴, the inn keepers’ doors 🚪 for as many children to knock on 🚪🔔 as would like and singing 🎶 of a couple of carols in the barn surrounded by the lambs 🐑 and piglets 🐖.
✨ Some wonderful cuddles 🤗 with the bunnies 🐇 (my fav!), guinea pigs 🐹, mice 🐭 (eeek 😅) and of course miniature pigs 🐷.
✨ A magical visit to Father Christmas 🎅 in his grotto, walking through a forest of Christmas trees 🎄 lit with fairy lights ✨.
🎁The second half is not guided so you can play 🎠 in the Christmas village 🎄for as long as you like!Previously this felt a little rushed ⏳ so it was a great improvement in my eyes 👀.
✨ Noah’s barn 🏠 with the bouncy castles 🎪, elves sweet shop 🍭, and treats of drinks ☕ and mince pies 🥧 as well as letters ✉️ and post box 📮 to Father Christmas 🎅.
✨ The Christmas village 🎄 where you can toast marshmallows 🔥🍢, indulge in a tipple from the bar 🍷, and play some Christmas-inspired family games 🎲.
✨ The tractor 🚜 and trailer ride covered in colourful fairy lights ✨ - spotting gingerbread men 🍪🎄 along the way.
✨Treetops adventure towers play area 🌳🎢 - my children loved playing here for a couple of hours ⏰ in the summer ☀️. We didn’t play her

🌟 Live Nativity Scene: It’s then time to journey back 2000 years, as the Christmas Nativity begins. Travel to Bethlehem to find an inn for the night. After finding a vacancy in our cosy main barn, experience a real manger with all the Pennywell animals looking on. The scene is set and the story of the first Christmas comes to life.
🐷 Christmas Animal Cuddles: Next, you’ll experience Christmas close encounters with some of our amazing animals. Tickle, touch and stroke our Pennywell Miniature piglets and other furry friends🐰🐭🐹.
🎁 Visit Father Christmas: Enter our sparkly enchanted forest where Father Christmas will be waiting in his grotto with a special gift for every child.
🥧 Festive Treats: After Christmas Cuddles, head to Noah’s Barn for Christmas cheer with delicious mince pies and warming drinks for the adults and homemade Christmas biscuits and cold drinks for the children. Also pick up your sweets from the Elves sweet shop! 🍬

Localised flash flooding on the lane this morning made access to the farm impossible! This video was taken at 10.30 this morning.
We're incredibly sorry to have not been able to run our Magical Christmas Experience today.
We know how much you would have been looking forward to it and it is not a decision we took lightly.
After having a team meeting early this morning we had planned to open as normal.
However, we later experienced very heavy rainfall which resulted in extreme flash flooding making it impossible to access the farm, so we were left with no choice but to close.
If you had booked tickets for our Magical Christmas Experience for today you will of course be receiving a refund. With many of the remaining dates sold out please bear with us as we try to see if it may be possible for us to offer additional times.

We got to Pennywell North Pole and were guided through a nativity journey, where we followed donkeys to Bethlehem, had lots of Christmas cuddles with piglets, and got to meet Santa for the first time this year!
