As racing fans, we all get involved in the excitement of the sport but we'd have no sport if it were not for these amazing creatures that give their all on the track and give us so much joy.
As many of you know who follow Peter Clarke Racing Club, we recently started an exciting new journey with one of our younger horses "Pete" and he certainly seems to have captured the imagination of many of you.
But today we want to introduce FUWAIRT. He is 9 years old and is now living a very happy and healthy retirement after his racing career.
He won six times and finished in the frame on many more (14) occasions giving everybody involved with him tremendous fun along the way.
In our recent survey about our website there were many suggestions and opinions about how we could improve every aspect of what we do at Peter Clarke Racing Club and one of those was showcasing what we do with our retired horses.
So you asked and we will deliver.
Therefore we will be uploading more images and videos on our rehoming page.
"A racehorse is for life, not just the track"
Hope you enjoy Fuwairt having a munch.

Very excited to see #DOONBEGFARMER back on the track today.
He runs in the 2.05 at Brighton, and after a win and a very unlucky run in attempting to double up last time, we are hopeful he can hit the frame at least.
He goes off the same handicap mark of 57 which seems within his range.
Good luck BIG fella.
