Rainy days don’t mean skipping walks, they just need a little extra prep! Here are a few simple tips to keep walks safe, comfy, and stress-free when the weather isn’t on your side:

🐾 Shorter, more frequent walks
A few quick outings can be better than one long soggy walk.

🐾 Invest in good gear
A waterproof coat for your dog (and you!) can make all the difference.

🐾 Mind those paws
Wet pavements and mud can irritate paws… give them a rinse and dry when you get home.

🐾 Visibility matters
Dark mornings and evenings = reflective leads, collars, or lights are a must.

🐾 Add indoor enrichment
If the weather is really awful, puzzle toys and scent games help burn off energy indoors.

Now the weather has well and truly taken a turn, this is just a gentle reminder for our lovely clients:

If your pets have towels, dry robes, coats or anything they’re used to wearing on walks or after coming back in from the rain, please feel free to leave them out for me.

It helps keep your pets comfy, cosy and dry… and keeps their routine just the way they like it.
(Plus… fewer soggy shakes around the house! 😉)
