Half Term Paw-se!

A huge thank you to all my wonderful customers for keeping me busy and covered in fluff! Tail and Chase Dog Grooming is now closed for the rest of the week for a little half-term break, but I’ll be back next week, refreshed and ready for more wagging tails!

🐶✨ Peggy the Jack Russell came in today for her groom, and WOW, who knew such a little dog could have so much hair?! 😲🐾

We brushed, we de-shedded, and by the end, there was enough fluff on the floor to make a whole new Peggy! 🤣 She left looking sleek, shiny, and totally adorable (as always). 💕

🐾 Proud Groomer Moment! 🐾

I just have to share how proud I am of Piglet the Dalmatian today! When she first visited me three years ago, even just getting into the bath was a big challenge for her. But today? She had a full bath, blow dry, ear clean, and nail trim all without a fuss!

This is exactly why I believe in listening to the dog's needs. Building confidence takes time, and yes, it may have taken three years, but my goodness, was it worth it! Seeing her happy and relaxed makes every step of the journey so rewarding. 💙🐶✨

The hardest part of being a dog groomer is that we get to know your dogs like our own. We watch them grow, share in their happy moments, and build a special bond with each one. But nothing prepares us for the day we hear they’ve crossed the rainbow bridge. It never gets easier.

🌟 Late Cancellations & No-Show Policy 🌟

Hi everyone,

I don’t like to moan, but I need to address something that’s come up this week. Unfortunately, I’ve had a few last-minute cancellations and no-shows. For a small business like mine, this can be really difficult to manage. 🐾

When an appointment is cancelled with very little notice or missed entirely, it’s nearly impossible to fill that spot in time. This has a big impact on my ability to keep the business running smoothly.

To make things fair, please be mindful of the following:

🐾 Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will require a payment of 50% of the appointment fee to cover costs.
🐾 No-shows will be charged the full appointment fee.

I pay for a service that sends out multiple appointment reminders, so you’ll always have plenty of notice about your upcoming booking.

Please remember, I’m a single parent, and this business is my only source of income. I’m not just running a grooming salon, I’m supporting my family. 💕

If these issues continue, I will sadly have to reintroduce deposits for every appointment. I hope it doesn’t come to that, but I need to protect the business and my livelihood.

Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support. It means the world to me and helps keep Tail and Chase thriving!
