Meeting House Boarding Kennels and Cattery is situated in the grounds of a 17th century thatched cottage with over 2 acres of green paddocks overlooking open countryside. It is located 8 miles south of Royston in Hertfordshire, just outside the village of Cottered, and can be easily accessed from both the M11 and A1. Meeting House is open for boarding dogs and cats all year round and has a policy

of employing permanent staff who are familiar with our regular customers and their pets. A veterinary surgeon is on call 24 hours a day. We insist that all dogs and cats have an up-to-date vaccination certificate and will ask for this to be produced when you bring in your pet. All dogs must be vaccinated against kennel cough, and the vaccine must bene administered at least 10 days prior to your pet coming into the kennels. In order to facilitate the smooth running of the kennels and cattery we now require all pets to be collected prior to 1pm on the day of departure. Where they are collected later than that an additional day's boarding fees will be applied, see the website for more information. If your dogs and/or cats are currently staying with us, feel free to ask us how they're getting on and we'll send you some photos!

Luna was NOT at Meeting House if anyone is thinking she was, it was another kennel. We have had a couple of phone calls to see how the dogs were and I wanted to put their minds at rest.

Meeting House Kennels are looking for full time/part time staff. Hours are 8am - 2pm and one morning at weekends. Experience is not essential as training will be given but a basic knowledge of animal care is needed.
