Angels new harness arrived today donated by a very kind person, she looks very smart in it! I’m thrilled.
Rosie and Jim are still waiting for their lucky break either together or separately, either way they need another friendly dog to live with, they are 8 months old and both neutered, vaccinated and chipped.
They are really nice pups that deserve a second chance in life.
Their adoption fee is £450 each
They are in Hertfordshire.

Wilma is really not happy living with so many dogs, she would really like a home of her own with her own humans that she can shower with affection and kisses.
She is such a sweet little dog that will give the right family a lot of love and joy.
She’s approximately 4 years old, she’s neutered, vaccinated and chipped, she loves going for walks, but she doesn’t like cats!!
She can live with another dog if it’s a quiet well behaved dog, she doesn’t like boisterous pups!
Children over 10 only as even though she loves being picked up and cuddled it has to be done slowly and carefully otherwise she gets very scared, I’m pretty sure that she has had some very rough handling in her previous life. In this video she’s telling the other dogs that this is her safe space and to keep away, but they all know that she never backs it up!

A lovely lady dropped off a bag of toys recently which the pups love, Jim in particular loves soft toys.
Both of these pups are still available.

I decided to try to release the swift today, his weight is perfect and he doesn’t want me to feed him anymore , plus the weather is good for a take off as it’s quite breezy , unfortunately he had other ideas, it didn’t help that there was a bird of prey hovering over head!
Another orphan, this is a little sparrow , and the swift is doing well too. All of these babies including the jackdaws and moorhens are costing me £50 a week to feed!
That’s more than the dogs!
Unfortunately the tiny bird died 😔
But the swift is doing well.
And the 4 jackdaws are doing well and very needy!
Then we sat down and had a cuddle, Jim was scared and barked at a person that came in after us, he wasn’t expecting to see other people , but gradually he settled once more people arrived.
The pups had their first walk yesterday, it was very stressful for them getting out of the house to the unknown, but once out of the gate there was no holding them back!
They loved it and it has definitely made a difference to them
Very sadly the bunnies died, I battled all day and evening to get them to feed but they didn’t seem to have any sucking reflex. I wonder if they had something wrong with them and the mother turfed them out cos they had no injuries on them which you would expect if another animal had dug them out, and there was no fresh earth around them either. It was a very stressful day but I tried my best. 😞
I rushed up to the local dogs kennels as I got a call from one of the volunteers that had found these on the path, they’re new born bunnies, something must’ve dug them out of their warren, there was 4 but sadly one was already dead, they are stone cold so I have put them on a heat pad before I attempt to feed them.
It’s 50/50 at the moment if they’ll survive because it depends how long they have been out in the cold for, but I’ll do my best.
They’ve finally plucked up the courage to venture outside !
The pups have had a good nights sleep and are feeling a lot better this morning, the journey for 4 days and tiredness really had a toll on them, but now they can think straight and be more puppy!
Onwards and upwards from here on.

Just a few hours later ..
With the help of Michelle we managed to get them into a crate so that I could put them in the dining room with some of the younger playful dogs, the door is open to the crate that they’re in so they will hopefully go into the bigger crate behind them , but already there’s a big improvement with Rosie mainly .
