The street dogs of Romania have horrible lives, everyday they have to fight to survive. Many people are out to kill the dogs as they see them as vermin, they are captured off the streets by 'dog catchers'. They are then taken to 'public shelters' where they are left to starve, these are the lucky ones. The others are poisoned, bludgeoned to death, injected with bleach - the horrifying list goes on

. THIS HAS TO STOP - it it not fair that these dogs have to suffer in this way. I fundraise to bring these dogs to the UK and to get them into homes where they will be part of the family and will be loved and safe, they have already suffered enough, they deserve a family to call their own. For any further info on any of my current Romanian dogs please drop me a message

A little update on Lucy, as you can see she’s going from strength to strength and has found her playful side, something which I’m sure she hasn’t done for a long time , or if ever.!

This is a post from one of my adopters that I wanted to share with everyone as it’s so important that these dogs are given a chance as they are not going to be perfect but with time and patience and understanding they’ll try their best to be. The last pic is of Thelma and her sister Louise when Lin adopted Thelma .

Someone very kindly donated a lovely dog bed that they no longer needed, I think it’s been a bit hit with the dogs in the lounge, they’ve pretty much all had a turn. Ruby discovered it the other day and of course wherever Ruby is Conchita is never far behind ! But then Mumma thought she’d like to sleep in there too, but Ruby still didn’t budge!

A massive thank you to all of the people that donated towards my vet bill and the sick puppies that Alina has, because of everyone’s very kind generosity I paid my bill and sent some to Alina . My bill has been very high lately because I’m still catching and neutering feral cats, got 2 more booked in on Monday and Ruby is going to have her stitches out also. I got the results back from her mammary tumour, it was benign but there was something found that leads them to believe that untreated it would’ve turned malignant. So please people get your female dogs neutered early , if left too late you run the risk of mammary tumours and certainly pyometra which again can be fatal if not caught early . When I had my first dogs 40 years ago, I didn’t bother getting them done cos I thought what’s the point, they were only small so not a problem, there was a year in age between them, when they got to 10 years old they both got pyometra! One had an open pyo which means the infection was oozing out so not as dangerous, the other was a closed pyo, her stomach swelled and the vet misdiagnosed it as heart failure! She very nearly died until I suggested that maybe it could be pyo! She was operated on and pulled through , but it was touch and go as she had become very unwell.
Anyway thanks again for your support, you’re all fantastic!!!

So I have a bit of a predicament, I have my vets bill to pay of over £900 and not enough in the bank to cover it, I recently brought the joint supplements for Angel and mince for the others which was over £200 for both things , I cancelled her hydro this week .
I also wanted to send Alina some money for some pups that she has just taken on yesterday, unfortunately they are all sick now, suspected parvo so need treatment. It never rains……😩
Worst case scenario is that I don’t pay my bill this month , but any help is appreciated, I know a lot of people have recently donated so I feel bad asking again. 😔 but without our help these pups will die, at least with treatment they have a slim chance .
