The street dogs of Romania have horrible lives, everyday they have to fight to survive. Many people are out to kill the dogs as they see them as vermin, they are captured off the streets by 'dog catchers'. They are then taken to 'public shelters' where they are left to starve, these are the lucky ones. The others are poisoned, bludgeoned to death, injected with bleach - the horrifying list goes on

. THIS HAS TO STOP - it it not fair that these dogs have to suffer in this way. I fundraise to bring these dogs to the UK and to get them into homes where they will be part of the family and will be loved and safe, they have already suffered enough, they deserve a family to call their own. This is a sad story with hopefully a happy ending.
This little kitten was found on the side of the road with his mother and 3 siblings in Romania, luckily a rescuer Cristina was driving past and stopped to collect them but they were too scared and all ran into the bushes except for this little mite who couldn’t see because his eyes were too gunky
She took him home and went back to look for the others, she managed to catch another kitten and went back a third time and this time caught the mother and another kitten, unfortunately after going back several times day and night she never saw or heard the 4th kitten , it’s very unlikely that someone else picked him up but can only hope.
They are all very skinny including mum so I have sent Cristina €100 to help with food and have offered to bring them over when they are old enough, around September time, I don’t really have the facilities to house cats so they need good home offers beforehand. Mum will be vaccinated and neutered and the kittens will all be vaccinated too, they will also be tested for FIV.
I also paid my vets bill this week of over £1000.

Our wildlife are dying from lack of water, please put water out for them in your garden and change it regularly so that it doesn’t get algae in which can be dangerous to them , a shallow dish on the floor will be sufficient for birds and hedgehogs and if you’re lucky enough to have larger mammals coming into your garden then a bucket will suffice, also please put water out in the fields if you can, take a container out with you when you’re walking your dogs and leave it somewhere that wildlife can get to and check it regularly and top up .
Imagine not having a drink all day, imagine your dogs not drinking for a whole week! They would soon die in this heat so let’s step up and help our wildlife .

She is approximately 5-6 months old, a crossbreed of unknown origin, she will be small to medium sized as she only has little legs!
She’s fully vaccinated and neutered.

In Romania, we rescued Fido from a terrifying kill shelter where he was locked in a small mental cage 24 hours a day, with barely any room to move.

For Fido, we are now searching for a specific foster or adoptive home who have experience with Romanian / overseas dogs.

Fido is an elderly man who is having a very difficult time living in a shelter.
After his terrible experience living on the streets and subsequently in a public shelter, he needs to be rebuilt and given new life.

Because he has been left to fend for himself throughout his life, he finds other dogs concerning 😞.
It is imperative that fido finds a quiet home with not other resident animals.

Fido enjoyed a groom and even wagged his tail 😍 he is used to having a collar and lead however will need some more confidence building on walking, however all fido really wants is a nice quiet home and to be able to potter around in his garden.

Fido would be best suited:
- A home with a garden to enjoy and potter in
- A home with adults only and no other animals
- A experienced person/s who will give fido the time and space he needs whilst he adjusts.
- Experience with guardian breeds

Another emergency to pay for in Romania , Alina was contacted by a man who got his dog neutered yesterday, he asked Alina if she would take the pups, they are the 2 in the last pic, unfortunately when she got there she saw the state of the mum dog, her wound had opened up and her intestines were hanging out! ( I have blacked out the gory part ) Alina rushed her straight to another vet as the original vet was not responding to her calls, she has been operated on again and seems ok at the moment, she will stay at that vets for a few days to recover . The pups are very hungry and a bit scared but will hopefully come round and will be coming to me when ready .

I was told about this pup yesterday evening, he was in foster in Romania ready to travel to the uk with another rescue, when the foster came home from work she found the pup like this , these fosters don’t usually have them in their homes they’ll be outside with a lot of other dogs , the other rescue doesn’t want him now but I can’t leave him like this so I suggested getting him to a vet for X-rays which she has done, nothing has showed up so it could be nerve damage maybe , I have sent Alina €150 as her bill was only €80 for X-ray and meds! ( just goes to show how much our vets are ripping us off!!)

The pups went to the vets today to have their Brucella blood tests, they were really good and got lots of attention from the staff and clients cos let’s face it they are both super cute!!
They have now gone to fosters to get lots of cuddles and pampering because they deserve it!

The pups have arrived! Teddy isn’t fazed at all, Belle is a bit scared but I can see that she’ll soon come round .
Teddy is reserved but Belle is still available.
