Very interesting reading. When I come across this condition, this is one of the biggest concerns of owners with the recommended referral and treatment which unfortunately is extraction. Horses are hugely resilient they adapt wonderfully whilst removing the constant discomfort this condition causes.

🥕 Putting on weight doesn't mean there are no dental problems...grass is amazingly good at the moment

🥕 Horses are programmed to try not to show pain - in the wild this is seen as weakness and how they become a predator target! Always keep on top of your dental checks - you can't see in there!
