Japan Trip Day Two
So Day Two we've found some great koi, This was are first full day looking and buying koi, We started today by visiting Maruhiro Koi Farm The big round was empty but we selected four nice bowls here will most likely revisit later in the week, then we moved on to Hosokai Koi Farm Witch Looks so different from the snowy months that I've always visited in until now, Another four bowls selected here, two bowls from a higher quality pond and all female, The rest of the afternoon was spent visiting a few breeders Miyatora, Yagenji and Marusaka
lots of great koi at all but i did resist buying for now

Japan Trip Day One !!!
So I've actually been in japan a few day's exploring Niigata its self which has been fantastic, Today I been Ojiya but we heard Ikarashi Ozumi had harvested some koi from the mud ponds this Moring so would of been rude not to take a look and we’ve found some gems take a look bellow, i couldn't resist buying a few bowls.

we are not the easiest to find as the post code will take you to Crows Castle Farm, if you arrive at this gate way you will need to turn right as you exit onto the A424 towards burford, after 0.8 of a mile you will come to a cross roads turn right for Taynton, after 320 meters the gate way is on your right.

One of todays jobs was todo some topical treatments on some of the koi with marks in the pond, the tric that was previously treated seems to be completely gone and most marks are healing well, a couple needed a helping hand but catching them is difficult in this pond as a 1/4 of it is covered so the drag net was used to keep the koi in an area we could observe and catch the ones required for a topical treatment. CT has also been used to reduce bad bacteria in the pond.
