What better for ‘Friday Feels’ than a crate full of puppies!!! ❤️
Today we had NINE beautiful Cane Corso puppies come in for their first vaccinations, and what a treat it was!!! Already at 8 weeks they are a big bundle of fun!
We tried to keep a few back… surely the owners wouldn’t miss one or two….. 🙊🙈🤣🤣

*Milo Update*
Milo has made quite an impression here at Cootes, and has become quite the star! 🌟
He is such a character, and so cheeky! He has now had his bandage removed, and is making up for lost time! You’d never know he had a broken leg.
Here are a few photos of the last couple of weeks of him causing mischief ❤️

We are pleased to introduce you to this beautiful girl, Sprite. She was rescued a few days ago & is already loving her new life. She’s the most confident, loving girl & has completely landed on her feet in her new home. Sprite is a Cocker Spaniel & we think she’s about 3 years old.
As you can see she is over the moon with her new bed & was definitely making her self at home already. We look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks for more treats & cuddles ❤️

We are hosting another dog show this September, at The Woolpack Burgess Hill. After last years hugely successful show where we raised just over £800 which was split between two charities, we have decided to do it all again!!! This time we are raising for St Peter & St James Hospice and Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare.
We would like to thank our sponsors - Bodle Bros Ltd who are supplying the goodie bags and winning rosettes for us, and for Woozelbears Hydrotherapy and Grooming who will be putting a voucher into the raffle and for some little extras also.
We have 7 categories to chooses from, with each entry priced at £3.00. *Cash Only*
I’m sure you will all find at least one category to show off your beloved fur baby’s talents!!! We will also have a Tombola and a raffle on the day, prizes to be announced nearer the time. Please do come down on Saturday 28th September and support us and join in the fun! All monies raised will be split between our two charities. We promise you a fun filled Doggie Day!!!!

Today is International Cat Day. So, what better way to introduce you all to little Milo 🩵
Milo was brought into our clinic 3 weeks ago, estimated at 4 weeks old. He was found in a trailer along with his 4 other siblings. Unfortunately Milo had got his left leg trapped in a drawer, and it was quite obviously damaged. Once in our care we X-rayed his leg which turned out to be fractured, meaning he would need to rest as much as possible & have his leg in a splint for several weeks. He needs twice weekly splint and bandage changes. Since then, our Practice Manager, Emma has been looking after him. Emma has had to feed Milo 4 hourly throughout the night, including toileting him. It’s been so lovely to see his personality grow, along with his cheekiness.
We are pleased to say Milo is doing incredibly well, he has grown so much & he’s on his last bandage redress.
We know a few of our lovely clients have had the pleasure of having a cuddle with him too!

We are pleased to welcome lovely little Olive to our Cootes family. Olive is a 2 month old Cavapoo & has the most beautiful markings. She came in this morning for her first set of vaccinations & was exceptionally brave. We had a morning full of fun, cuddles & maybe an accidental excitable wee! We look forward to seeing you again soon Olive 💙

Meet Daisy. 💛
She is a 3 year old Saluki Cross, and isn't she so pretty!
Daisy came to our Dog Show that was at The Woolpack Burgess Hill last September, and won the raffle prize of a photo shoot by Sarah Chelsea Photography. The pictures are amazing!
We are putting the wheels in motion for ANOTHER DOG SHOW this September, where Sarah will be kindly donating some more vouchers. Come along and next time it could be YOUR fur baby that is captured so beautifully! Keep an eye out for updates. 😄

We are pleased to introduce you to gorgeous Bumble. She is a 7 year old Rottweiler, and the most gentle of them all. She’s been coming to us for years & is as good as gold & always more than happy to come in & see us, especially once she knows we’ve got the treats to hand 🧡

This is the beautiful Charlotte. After having surgery in 2021 for a mammary mass removal, Charlotte came back into us last week for another op, we are so happy she has made an outstanding recovery & we are so pleased she’s back to her lovely, bouncy self & loving all the attention 🤎

Good morning all. We have had a dark tabby, female cat come into us this morning, sadly dead on arrival. Was found at 8am this morning on Sussex Way, Burgess Hill. The cat is microchipped but not registered so unable to contact the owner. If you believe this may be your cat, please give us a call on 01444 242434.

We are obsessed. We are pleased to show off lovely Juno to you all. She is a 1 year old Staffie, who is full of energy & loves all the attention she gets!
Juno was born with a cleft lip which is an opening or split in the upper lip that occurs when developing facial structures don’t close properly. This doesn’t stop her from doing anything, she’s the happiest, sweetest little thing who enjoyed all the love & cuddles, as she was in to be neutered earlier on this week.
You are a bundle of fun Juno & we look forward to more cuddles soon 💚

Meet Chocs, a Beautiful, Playful 2 year old XL Bully. Chocs is a little bulldozer but loves nothing more than a belly rub, and of course we were more than happy to oblige!! Made it tricky to get a good picture of her tho, as she was so excited and wouldn’t keep still unless she was having her belly tickled!! Such a sweetie!! 🤎🤍

We are very sad to say that we have had a all black, adult cat come in deceased, which was found on the side of the motorway, A23. Looks as if been deceased a few days. No microchip has been found, if you have any information or think this may be your cat please give us a call on 01444 242434.
