Little Seeds is another very small hog🦔.. he couldnt find any food so has been out in the day eating bird food 😲.
He also has horrible parasites, a skin condition & an injury to his ear which are making him ill so he is not eating well.🤮
Please make sure bird food is out of reach of hogs...& do keep putting kitten kibble & fresh water out for hogs...they dont all hibernate & the weather is mild.
Fingers crossed for him & our other small hog, Yule.

If your thinking of putting reindeer dust outside maybe think of something else for Santa to see from his sleigh.
Reindeer dust could be harmful to Hedgehogs, Wildlife and Birds.
Most contain oats,glitter and foil which can be harmful to their digestive system.
So maybe leave the dust trail indoors near the reindeers carrot or santa's mince pie.
Santa would want the Hedgehogs and other Wildlife that visit your garden to be safe on Christmas Eve.

Happy Christmas dear friends! We are a very lucky rescue, food on our shelves, a little money in the bank to pay for vets & meds. But mostly amazing supportive rescue team! Helen just told me she has now rescued 390 hogs since she has been with HHH, both Pam and I have lost our mums this year. Thank you all for your support! 🦔😭...No photos...too distressing.
A poor hog arrived this afternoon with terrible strimmer injuries...please please be careful...& if you do accidentally hit a hog please take it to the vets or a rescue..& thank you so much to the lovely family who rescued the poor hog 🦔

Great news...Brick has gone back to the wild! He is now a good weight & his spines came back beautifully.Good luck lovel...

🦔 We are still getting little sick hogs in... using cameras means we can monitor them remotely so reducing stressful handling. This little girl is very poorly but is eating & drinking a little for herself now...fingers crossed.🦔🤞
Sadly l lost the other small one this afternoon.💔

We have been able to release a few recently though 👍🦔

Adult hogs do better when they are returned to the area where they were found...they know their patch!

We had a lovely couple of hours visit on Monday for 2 hedgehog fans, both lovely humans, interested in hedgehogs and their plight. 🦔🥰🫶🏻☕️🧁 Will Young NOTE, the contact time with one of our hogs was 3/4 mins, she needing cleaning out anyway, there was no additional lighting in the rescue cabin, PPE was worn, no selfies were taken and no audio recorded.

Thanks soooo much to everyone that has purchased hoglet bits, we have started to get a few in. The video is of little Robin, only a few hours old arrived chilly from a disturbed nest. We were helping WRAS out keeping him over night until they could pick up. Fingers crossed for little Robin. Ax
