So, when Jane left early last Sunday morning, I was expecting one foster dog to arrive, but no “hey presto” THREE arrived. As you can see, they all have issues, “Pearl” the Retriever has a wonderful temperament even though she has had clear trauma to her body. The tiny Cavalier “Erin” was so afraid she wouldn’t move and had to be carried, so sad for a little thing like her, and the third,” Jemini” a Cavachon (cavalier/bichon), as you can see her coat has been shaved because it was matted which would have been very painful for her and then, it was found she has poor eyesight so will need to visit the eye specialist, let’s hope it is something that can be treated, I’ll let you all know. As I said at the beginning an unexpected trio of dogs but a happy ending for two, the Retriever was a planned adoption already but then the wonderful couple saw the Cavalier and fell in love with her so they couldn’t leave her, some people are so wonderful ……thanks to you both so much. As you can see Jemini has found her way into Murphy's bed with Charlie keeping his head down.

Here we all are, lovely to see Cariad the Shih Tzu walking on a lead with Murphy looking on, of course, she's done well in 6 days even learning how to jump up on the settee. Her new Mum and Dad collected her today and she's happily settling in, even gone shopping in a pet shop, WOW. It all seems a bit much for dear Charlie our wonderful 15-year-old Terrier and Mable the Basset clearly thinks she might be missing out on food, that's the only reason she would run.😀

Cariad is an 8-year-old Shih Tzu, who came to us from Many Tears Dog Rescue. She is yet another ex-breeding dog with an old ulcer in her right eye and needs to learn all about living in a home. Cariad is a happy waggy-tailed little girl who loved her first walk on the beach and, of course, Murphy and, she has already had an application to adopt her.....I'll keep you all updated.
