History today from 18th October 1895 article about a chap being drunk at the Coldwell Inn. It is a great peek into those past times. Imagine if you were arrested these days, there would not be anyone left in pubs on a Saturday! 😆

We have held two 38 people family gathering at Coldwell over the last 3 years and i cannot recommend this beautiful place highly enough.
The facilities are excellent and can certainly accommodate all of our wonderful family whose ages ranged from 3 to 83.
The kitchen is industrial with everything you could wish for and certainly made our cooking experience very easy. The superb dining room overlooking the reservoir is airy, and allows us all to sit together. We even had quizzes in there on an evening. From Snooker, table football, table tennis, and board games we had so much to entertain ourselves with on an evening. The numerous walks from Coldwell, many leading to a pub were excellent and easy enough for all the age range.
We have booked our third gathering already and cannot wait to see our beautiful family congregate there again.
The staff at Coldwell are extremely friendly and will go the extra mile to help you out.
