We recently had our shop inspection.

This inspection is conducted by the council and they rate the shop according to their rules and regulations on animal welfare (and other boring shop stuff).

We are very pleased to inform you that we recieved the highest rating of 5 stars.

This is thanks to Steve and his dedication to not only the shop but you guys aswell.
We strive to be here to help and support all the customers that come in the shop.

These are a fantastic snake, super active and full of character.

A wonderful bonus to this species is they stay small!
Males reaching around 2 foot total length! (We only have males available).

Perfect for people who don't have a ton of space.

Hello guys!

As christmas is fast approaching we'd like to give you our yearly reminder about animal availability and our standards of animal sales.

We are just as stringent with animals going to new homes over the festive period as we are all year round.

Some gentle reminders about how it works:

1. Setups.
Setups need to be seen by ourselves fully up and running before we can let an animal leave the shop.
Setups purchased from us are not exempt from this rule, it still needs to be seen but we especially need to see Setups that have been purchased else where.
We need to know (if applicable) what your UV is that you're useing I.E the brand, how old it is and the % of uv the tube is.
We test any uv bulb for free if you pop it down to the shop, we can tell you if it's still good to use or needs replacing.
We need to know what your basking temperatures are, what your cool side temperatures are and what your night time temperatures are.

2. Diet and Supplements.
What you're planning on feeding and what Supplements are you useing.
If you're unsure about either ask us and we are happy to advise.

3. Availability.
Please do not rely on us having the animal you promised to your child/children in stock for Christmas without speaking to us first.
We always urge people to express intrest early, so we can try our best to get the right amount of animals (and equipment) in stock ready for collection.

4. The obvious.
Animals are alive and can be for years.
Understand the responsibilities that come with that and do not purchase an animal on a whim for a last minute present.

Uv checks!

Don't forget we will test your uv output on your uv tubes (for free) so you know if you need to replace them!

*Just because the uv tube puts out light, doesn't mean it's producing the appropriate uv out put for your animal*.

We generally recommend a uv test when the bulb has been used for 6-8 month.

Along with alot of other shop in the UK, we are struggling to get hold of 5th Locust and adult Locust.

We are compensating by ordering more 4th Locust instead.

We are not sure when 5th and adult Locust will be available again but it shouldn't be to long.

Sorry for the inconvenience and remember, they eat other food items so no need to panic.
