This evening I had the pleasure of giving a hedgehog presentation to the 6th Fife Cubs and Beavers in Kinghorn. Thank you to Rosie Armstrong for inviting me along and thank you so much for the wonderful donation which we will put towards the hedgehogs food.
Glad you all enjoyed it and remember “A hedgehog out in the day is not ok” 😉

Please don’t leave them. Hedgehogs will not hibernate out in the open.
Poorly hedgehogs are very susceptible to hypothermia if they don’t receive help quickly.

Spotted a hedgehog who needs help? Remember ANY hedgehog out in the day at this time of year will need rescuing as something will be wrong for it to be out during daylight hours.

The hedgehogs and us were honoured today to have Gold medalist and new World record holder Paralympian Ben Sandilands join our team 💕🦔
Ben is volunteering with us to gain some experience in between his busy training schedule.
It was a pleasure to have you in the rescue today Ben. You did great! See you again soon 🤩

What a difference in Miss Maisie in just a short time.
Maisie came in with a multitude of internal parasites and was very dehydrated and thin.
Now the parasites are under control she is going from strength to strength.
She weighed 523g and nearly two weeks later now weighs 828g and looking so much healthier 💕
Now she is feeling better we can start treating her Ringworm which is a fungal skin condition which causes crusting on the skin.
She enjoyed a bath today to help her skin.

This evening we had a knock on the door from our lovely EVRI driver with a heavy box for us.
Inside were four Purina One 2.8kg bags of kitten food!
The generosity of people never ceases to amaze us!
Thank you to whoever sent them as we get through so much of this food 🤩
We actually were running low and were going to put an order in tonight!
