What a wonderful day, thank you so much to everyone who came along and supported our FIRST ever Paws on Links Fun Dog Show for Burntisland Civic Week.
We raised a fantastic £108.00 for them and a lot of fun was had by all. Amanda did a brilliant job of picking our winners. We can tell you it was not easy at all! 💜🐾

We are soooooo excited for the first ever Paws on the Links Fun Dog Show for Burntisland Civic Week 🥳. Incase the weather is bad we will be holding the show in the marque ⛺️ on the links.
Anne and Victoria will be setting up from about 11am so If you want to grab a tasty treat and to sign up before the fun starts we will be ready from around 12pm.
Here is all the info you need:-
Showing will start around 2.30pm - you need to be entered before to take part.
Each class entry is £2.00 and all proceeds will go to Burntisland Civic Week.
Classes you can enter are:
-Cutest Puppy (under 12months)
-Handsomest Boy
-Loveliest Lady
-Golden Oldie (over 7 years)
-Best Trick
-Best Rescue
-Best Dressed (owner & dog)
Winner of each class will receive a best in show prize.
All ages and breeds are welcome but dogs must be kept on lead and under control at all times.

On Saturday Anne will have our wee stall at Star Village Hall Gala Day AND we are helping with the dog show too!
Pop along enjoy the festivities and why not enter your pooch in one of the categories 💜🐾

The Gala really is offering something for the whole family this year... including your furry friends. At 2pm, the Gala Dog Show will take place. It is just £1 per entry, per class - so why not give it a go?

We want to ensure that the Gala is enjoyed by everyone so, we kindly ask that the following guidance is adhered to:
➡️ The Gala will be busy with lots going on. If you do not think your dog would be comfortable in this environment, please do not bring them along.
➡️ All dog owners MUST clean up after their dog at all times - this includes throughout the day and during the Dog Show. Bins will be provided around the Village Park.
➡️ Please remember that not everyone may be as keen on dogs as you.
➡️ All dog owners are responsible for the behaviour of their animal.
➡️ Dogs should not be left unattended at any time.
➡️ Remember a hot car can be deadly for dogs, please do not leave your dog in your vehicle at any time.
➡️ Please ensure that you bring plenty of water for your pooch, especially if it's a warm day.
➡️ We kindly ask that dogs are not brought into the Village Hall.

We hope these simple rules will make the event enjoyable for all.

We have a little change of hours tomorrow (Thursday 9th May) so we can get ready for Victoria’s Best Friends Wedding. The HGL Shop will CLOSE EARLY at 1pm but don’t worry we will be back to normal on Friday 11am till 3pm.
There will be NO Artisan Fridays for us this week as Victoria has to recover from the night before 🥴.
